I got my "blemished" tubes today (but no complete unit) sigh... So I borrowed a Top cap and a button from another simplicity. The only "flaws" I could find were a few bits of metal shavings on the threads. Came off with a little Noalox and a Q-tip.

I think the satin finish is very nice, very light, compact etc. (what every one else has been saying)

If you didn't go with the whole enchilada, and still wish you had, I checked the website and I think there are 7 of the "blemished " tubes left. Are they worth $50.00? That's up to you...I do know that 30 of us paid $400 for the complete package, and no complaints... yet.
They won't do you much good without another "donor body". but once they're gone, it's just a story.

I did look too but i only found them offered in large amounts and didn't want to risk not being sure.

If you ever need them the outer o-rings are 15mm x 1mm and the inner o-rings are 9mm x 1mm.

Mine just hit Knoxville from Saint Paul, so would be in the morning if it weren't for the holiday. I wish I got off work every time the post office did. That would be so nice.
