No go on the 300. No go on the 200s. This is frustrating!

Like I mentioned in my last comment the .35 is SS coils. I didn't switch the mod back to SS TC mode. The Ti coil I wrapped was 24g 6 wraps on 3mm coming in at .11 but not reading on the mods.

This looks right to me, Thats how I build my dual 24 gauge Ti & thats right about were they ohm out!

So let me understand this clearly, On the same atty, with a different wire it works on your mod? It's just the Ti thats the problem?

Wow,,, I'm befuddled... Have you tried same Atty & Build on either a DNA or YiHi SX equipped Mod in Ti or TCR Mode? That would either confirm or dismiss the Issue being the Mod and/or Board. My Ti-built Squape R and Bellus (Single 0.24 ohm Bulld) even works great on the Pico set in TCR.

I'm not familiar with the Wismec/Jaybo Boards/Chipsets. I did have a VF Stout with a quasi Board made by Wismec but didn't use it for Ti TC. Come to think of it, I did try it once with a Ti-built Squape R and it was less than satisfactory (blah & lethargic) to me so was the last time. Put same Ti-built Squape on a DNA and a SX chipsetted Mod and was awesome and as expected.
Be watching this Thread for the real Issue and Solution. Sorry can't be of more assistance.

Short answer...yes. I have no idea on what the issue could be besides the Wismec devices.

I can see that 200 is a candidate for the Arctic Fox software :)
Have you heard about it? Consider trying it on the 200, it's a really nice software!
It will give you all most all the functionality of a DNA on E-Scribe!
It's really quite easy to install & use, & also can be completely removed by writing a stock firm wear bin back to the mod :)

At first it looked like your resistances mite be off but now those look bang on, IDK what the heck is going on!

The only mods I have other than mechs is the Wismec 200s and the 300. I haven't tried it on any other mod. All my friends are running the 200s or the 300 so I couldn't even use one of theirs.

No worries. We (everybody on here that is imputing their opinions) will figure this out or I will be contacting Wismec about the issue and seeing what they have to say about it.

I have Arctic Fox downloaded and so far I'm liking it.

As for the Ti wire. I put coils on 2 other RDA's and it seems the issue was with that RDA. The other ones I've put coils in seem to be working fine. Idk why I didn't think of putting coils in another RDA to see if it was the mods or the RDA ::facepalm:: **duh**. Anyways I have a 24g, 10 wrap over 3.5mm coming in at .21. Seems to be working great. Just trying to break in the new cotton right now.

Question: do y'all prefer small gauge or larger gauge Ti wire? On 24g what do you find yourselves vaping at as far as wattage and temp?

Glad you got it working :)
I like 24 gauge cause It's sturdy, I can clean my coils with out any dry burn.
I use DNA's, I set my preheat to 100 watts for the first 3 seconds, then down to 45 watts.
I have my boards set to temperature dominate, So they wont heat the coil more than 450 degrees :)

With the Arctic Fox you can set your mods up all most the same, only thing preheat limit is only 2 seconds on Arctic Fox.
So you can a just your curve to get 100 watts for the initial burst then down to 45.
Arctic Fox also has temperature dominate mode :)

I tend to vape at higher wattages. With SS I would vape at 150W-220W. So I have it now set to Ti TC at 125W and seems to be hitting great.

I have the temp dominate set to 400. Can you explain the temp curve? I saw it on Arctic Fox. I'm assuming you can set a preheat temp and set it to lower to what you like your temp at and it will start off hot and gradually drop to the temp you set that you like. Correct or not even close?

400 is a bit low IMO I like between 425 & 450 :)
Yes :) You can set a curve so it hits at certain watts for a certain period.
The curve set up is more like the SXiQ software but it works.
On the configuration tab, you will see Preheat with 3 options choose curve & then edit.
It can be set up in there, You will see the watts & time set up.
You can customize your hit from there :)

Got ya! I'm having an issue with now with the Ti wire and the TCR. I haven't messed with the TCR and when I hit the fire button sometimes it will say TCR error. Have any idea on why that's happening

I usually just use the preset Ti option, rarely ever a custom TCR.
I have never seen that that error.
You can just choose Ti in the wire select option, maybe just try that?

There is a custom TFR setting in the drop down menu for Ti, maybe try that one?
with a DNA you can go to Steam Engine and make a TCR file but I don't know how to that with Arctic fox :(
With the Custom TFR option, If the error protists you can try adjusting it.
Then upload to device & see if it gets better or worse, this should show were the issue is.

I'll do that tomorrow. To crank up my laptop is like waiting on paint to dry it takes so long for it to get up and running. I'll do it tomorrow when I get off work. It's not really bad, just a pain in the rear when it happens cause I have to wait (I know look what technology does to us..we want everything to happen NOW) and try it again as soon as the error code goes away.

::Edit:: so it just happened to me 3 times in a row so I looked at the screen while firing the mod and it looked to heat up to 123* and then says TCR Error. Don't know what difference that makes if any but figured I'd post it invade someone know me what's going on.

You can load the steam-engine DNA file into Arctic Fox.
