Hi! Hope someone can help me... Like any noob, I'm in information overload... I've been using Mistic ecigs (just because that's what my sister uses), but they aren't really doing it for me. I'm using liquid (Johnson Creek, which I like) with them, but I would really like more vapor and have it last longer. I like the idea of tanks (where you see the liquid that you have left?) because it seems to me that you will *know* when you need to refill. I'm relatively lazy (and busy), so the less effort, the better. I do want the option of using liquid, though. I don't care if the ecig I end up using does not look like an analog, and as long as it's not the size of a police baton, almost any size is OK. :) I'd just like to be able to carry it in the front pocket of my jeans. What I don't want is something that is likely to leak. Money is not really an object, as long as the system helps me quit smoking or smoke less. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!

It depends on budget too, but I would look into an a KGO/VGO/E-power/Ego type batts in at least 900mah size (you can get a smaller 650mah ego but it's 3.4 volt). These will offer lots of adaptability as many attachments fit them and they are 3.7 volts. I would use a small DCT tank (3.5ml +/-) and cartomizer or you can use a clearomizer/stardust which i have never tried (some people like and some don't, much like anything really), but both are pretty convenient and I know from experience that the DCT and cartomizer are pretty consistent and set and forget until you have to refill the juice or replace the cartomizer. If you look around this forum, you'll see post after post from new vapers who got one of two models ecig and are very happy with them. One of them is the cigarette style "Volt". The other is the kGo. You'll see very few posts reporting problems or complaints about these two e-cigs. Since there are a lot of limitations to a cigarette style e-cig, I only recommend them for people who are absoutely stuck on the idea of vaping something that looks like a cigarette. The non-cig styles perform far better and are more economical in the long, and short term.
I'd say if you don't care about looking like an e-cig, your best starter would be a kGo 1100mah kit.
It'll last a good 8-10 hours before recharging.
It's an honest 3.7V and will accept all the eGo juice delivery systems.
It'll fit in a pocket with a cartomizer attached, but not with a big DCT tank.
A kit with 2 kGos, charger and cartomizers or atomizers is only about $42.

Get the atomizer kit (you always need an atomizer or two to test juice before you fill a big old cartomizer with something you might not even like) and add one or two of the ego Vison cartomizers.

Then add a box of regular 510 Boge cartomizers, and you'll be set to go.
Don't forget juice.

If you want a tank and you want battery life and reliability, personally I would go with a Silver Bullet. From everything I have seen and experienced, it is the standard for reliability and ease of use! get a couple 18650's and a charger and you should be good to go for years to come!

Is that a metaphor? Quite appropriate - the Silver Bullet is built like a tank and there is no way it will offer you anything but an excellent vaping experience. And use it with a Kick, and you then obtain an excellent consistency throughout you entire vaping day.

I'm afraid this may only contribute to the information overload, but... take a look, it won't hurt.

If that's too much for the beginning, than I vote for the options given above:

- if really really must have a cigarette size PV, then go for Volt products
- if not, go for the KGO kit suggested.

Also, and it's the third time I write this in three minutes so if you are reading other threads excuse the redundancy: it is probably a safer bet to go for cartomizers, at least right now, than for any other system; least of all the atomizer-tank setup like eGo-C because of its tendency to be fiddly and underperforming.

As someone said above - users rarely come back to complain about their KGOs or Volts, but there is a constant flood (no pun intended) of eGo-T and -C users who come to report bad experiences with that.

I started with Smokeless Image Volt batteries because I wanted something cig-like. I stuck with those for a few months before ending up back on analogs because I hit a high stress period and hadn't stocked up.

When I came back to vaping, I stocked up on Volts again, then moved on to their Volt X2 bigger batteries with clearomizers (I can see my juice). I use that for all day vaping, and my 78mm batteries with cartomizers I fill myself if I'm out at the bars etc. and don't want my bigger battery.

Yup - exactly why, when I was dithering about what to get, I settled on the KGO. Which, BTW, isn't that large, about the size of a "Sharpie" pen, if you're familiar with those in Germany.
The Volt looks really sweet, too.
