Mine was pretty crappy actually. Another bill from the surgeon who took out my appendix; not sure what part of "no job, no insurance, no money" they don't understand. The hospital reduced my bill by 96.55%, based on our financial disclosures, so I sent the surgeon another copy of that letter, AND a copy of those disclosures, so they can see what "barely surviving" looks like. I also pointed out that a) it was an emergency, not an elective or premeditated plan to stiff a bunch of doctors, and b) that at the current amount they're billing me, at $20/mo, which is all I can afford to pay any of these docs, it would take me 9 and a quarter years to finish paying them, but that I would throw any collection agency letters into the trash, and since they have been advised to that effect, to sell the debt to a collection agency would constitute fraud.
A shouting match with the spouse, who apparently threw away the printed payment confirmations from my last round of bill paying, while he *insists* that I just didn't print them... though I very clearly recall doing so, and I know I would not have shut down PaintShopPro, with which I "screen grab" the confirmation pages for printing, before actually doing that printing. His memory is like swiss cheese, and then he blames whatever-it-is on others.
And of course the horrible (?) budget for tomorrow's payday. If the check is ok, then it may not be too bad, but it's really going to depend on how big the check is. But we did figure out a way for me to order my ejuice with just a 2 day rather than 2 wk delay; once I make the payment on his credit card and it posts, he said I can use it to order the juice.
Really glad I've got WTA in my ejuice, or all this would be much worse -- it might not actually BE worse, but it would definitely feel that way. At the moment I'm just on the border of depressed, ...... off, suicidal, and mayhem-acidal, but somehow managing to sit here and calmly type. Thank god for WTA.
