So I've been vaping for almost a year now and probably started out how most people did - with a eGo and small tank. I have progressively spent money on new mods and stuff because of the great prices from fasttech but it seems like I always get something new because of how cheap that stuff is. I've gotten into rebuildables and dripping with mechanical mods and it wasn't that great to be honest. I've owned an Innokin SVD for a few months and recently sold it and after that Christmas time i'm feeling like a new set up. With this set up though, everyone always says Provari is the way to go for an APV. Is it really that great? I'm debating on getting a Provari mini and a Russian 91% RBA as I vape almost everywhere I go so it seems pretty convenient. Any thoughts?

It is built well better than most... But in my opinion I would get something else with more features. There are a ton of options cheaper ones at that. Such as a VTR, MVP V2, Evic, Tesla, Zmax, Hell even the Vamo. Those will do everything and more than the Provari. They wont be made as well but they are extremely good mods.
If you want to spend that much on a device I would personally get this.
Semovar Mod - SvoëMesto - Variable Voltage - Devices
I have used this and the provari. I have not owned either though. I feel like this is as good if not better quality than the provari and it does more.
This is just my opinion I know A LOT of people will disagree with me.

My ProVari has become part of me. I would now have to have a Provariectomy should I want to rid myself of it....and my son (over 18) has one on the way because he kept swiping mine and sighing at his Ego battery. I consider that I sacrificed my desire for a second one to the greater good of my son having his first. ;)

I have yet to find the person who regretted buying one. =)

I finally got my first provari after getting the VTR. I already had the MVP 2 and I must say I've never had a better vape than I've had with the provari. I couldn't believe how smooth it was. The flavors just pop. It's incredible. I don't regret getting it at all. It is all they say it is and you'll never know until you get one that's just the truth. There have been none to compare to it for me. Good luck finding what you desire! Happy Vaping, cuz' I am :vapor:

Hey Eb,

I think there is a bit of humor intended here...not to speak for Baditude, but I can't count how many times the poor fellow breaks down Ohm's Law and the marvels of the ProVari. I think he deserves a medal. ;)

It is a great decision to make. You will realize that the first time you vape one.

Good luck!

If you want a Provari, and it won't hurt you financially get one! I've seen a few friends and family buy numerous more affordable devices, only to end up buying a Provari. It seems like (at least to me) once they've gotten a Provari, it becomes their favorite device hands down. Most of them echo eachother saying "wish I'd bought this first". That said as "yzer" said, the Sigelei is a fine device. Whatever you decide, enjoy.

Features you get with the Sigelei Zmax Telescopic you won't get with a Provari...

-ability to use any battery from 18350 through 18650 without optional tube extensions. No need for a mini model for 18350.
-510 and eGo connections
-removable top cap
-VV/VW operation
-heavy stainless steel build, 23mm wide
-one of the shortest VV/VW tube APVs for 18350 through 18650

I stand corrected, thanks and sorry.
Your original question is asked on this forum every other day. I realized that your post was the first on this forum, so I gave you a break from saying just do a topic search.

Reasons to get a Provari:

A USA made variable voltage mod that is every bit as durable as any well-built mechanical mod.

The manufacturer gives a 1 year warranty, option to purchase a second year, and after the warranty expiration will still repair a Provari for reasonable parts fees for as long as you own it. Any mod made in China can not be repaired after the warranty expires, those manufacturers expect you to buy another one. "We make cheap. You buy cheap. It break, you buy another." A Provari will last as long as you want it to.

A basic, simple mod in features that does not pimp "bells & whistles" features - it just does what it was designed to do better than any other mod. It will work every time you ask it to.

Superior processor chip which gives the same consistant vape from the beginning of the battery life until it is drained (Accuset Technology). This processor uses an 800 Hz PWM frequency chip, not the cheaper 33.3 Hz chip (rattlesnake effect) that most of the Chinese-made mods use. The end result is often described as a smoother vape.

Durable, dependable, consistant, reliable, repairable. Unmatched customer service and support. Provari's requiring repair are generally returned back within a week. If you want a mod that will last YEARS as opposed to months, get a Provari.

98% USA made and manufactured - http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/provape/289525-provari-made-usa.html

The Provari has been the "Gold Standard" for which other regulated mods have been judged against. Many so-called potential "Provari Killers" have come and gone over the last 3 years. Recently, newer DNA mods have been brought onto the market which may compare in quality, but how well the manufacturers of those mods can supply the demand and provide the customer service that Provape has provided time after time remains to be seen.

Did you encounter any problems with the Semovar? Researching it a bit right now and it looks nice - especially because it can fire at 1.0 ohms where most other APVs cut off around 1.5 ohms.
