I got a provari mini. It's a fine piece of work, but if I had to do it all over again, I wouldn't get it.
I just can't justify spending so much money on a mod.
Even with all the fancy VV, I leave mine at 3.7v. Any higher and I get a burnt taste off my protank 2.
It's probably because of the protank 2 that I'm not enjoying my provari as much as I should.
I also found that it's difficult to drive and vape at the same time, especially during traffic hour due to the size and weight of this thing.
Mod serve a simple purpose. Now that I know more about e-cig, I'm baffled that they cost so much more than the tank.
IMO, your vaping experience depends much more on the quality of the tank/clearomizer and e-juice.
A ....ty clearomizer will ruin everything. A ....ty mod is just annoying but still usable. My cheap evod start kit hit about as well as the provari. Doesn't look as nice, not as well built but power is power.
I pretty much never use the check the battery level or resistance function on my provari mini.
If your life revolves around this hobby, get a provari.
Personally, mine isn't. After I got my eroll, the provari is collecting dust.
I can drive with this thing during traffic hour. There's nothing like taking a big vape when you're driving and listening to some good music.
I use the eroll at home too, but this is mostly because the protank 2 is a POS and I haven't bought something else to replace it.
It's reliable, consistent and lightweight. I can take a big drag while my hands are busy typing, writing, doing anything, etc.. Can't do that with a provari.
With big mod, it takes away one of your hand. After you take get a vape, you have to set it down somewhere else and then go back to whatever you were doing.
It's kind of the same story with flashlights. I used to buy the biggest and brightest flashlight possible.
After a while, I don't carry it as often and it's never there when I need it.
Now, I carry something that's small and works well. It never leaves my side.
Of course, if you have the money, buy everything you want.
I'm just giving people a heads up. If you buy a provari, there will be times you wish you had something smaller.
