No just vaping. Take it one day at time and you will get to a point where you can't stand the taste or the smell of a regular cig.

I can't stand the taste of them now. I could have quit a year ago but my g/f was all "I'm not ready" and I couldn't sit here and smell hers with nothing to help me. Thankfully she committed to going down this road with me, so it's no longer a concern.

It can be a way to get off nic completely if you want it to. Then you may or may not want to break the habit completrly. You have the control. It's up to you what you do with it. I quit smoking (2-3 PAD for 43 years) about 16 months ago. I started at 24 to 18mg nic, and over the course of about a year weaned down gradually to 4mg with no problems, issues or craving. I've been at 4mg a few months now and feel it won't be much longer before I step down to 3. Eventually I hope to kick nic completely, but if that doesn't work out it's no big deal. I'm happy with "harm reduction". Regardless if I kick the nic or not, it's pretty certain I'll keep vaping, though. I enjoy it.

Mmm, I am just 3 weeks into vaping at 24mg and recently a bit of 18mg and I am happy I've got zero cravings for analogs if nothing else. I've got no side effects that would suggest I am being overdosed either :p So that'll do for now...
The 18mg does make me vape more juice per day though so I don't think I've lowered anything :)

You lowered your tar and all the other bad carcinogens that smoking analogs comes with. Really you have upped vapor intake but lowered you poison while nicotine has remained balanced. That's how I see it.

And perhaps upped energy consumption also as the batts do need recharged.

I was a 3 pad 40 year smoker. I started at 24mg and had some 18mg around as well. After 2-2 1/2 months I was getting some anxiety, sleeplessness, general headless chicken symptoms, so I dropped to 12mg. I tried 6mg but that led to cravings. Now, after 5 months, I have settled at 9mg give or take. That level of 9mg means I have to order 2 bottles of everything (1-6mg and 1-12mg) and then mix them. The bottom line is that I listen to my body...and the voices in my head.

Can't wait to nix the the nicotine all together & go straight to where the flavor is.... Is it me or does the Nicotine make vaping spicy ?... tastes like the sh-t they use in the nic gum & that gives me a bad stomach

I've been cutting the nic level gradually from 24/36 six months ago to 10/12 now. I haven't really put any effort into cutting down, it sort of just happened by itself automagically. Hopefully my nicotine level will continue to drop steadily, so that I can get down to zeroish before the liquid nicotine gets outlawed or overtaxed.

As an old cigar smoker it may have been easier for me to get to no nic than for people with cigs, but I'm there. I still vape because I need my hands to be doing something, and my DIY tastes great. As I tried lowering nic, it just fell in place. Be awair that nic does affect throat hit, and if you need that, lowering down may not feel "right".
