Found these sites that lists the ingredients that the manufacturers add to their tobacco. May give you some ideas about what you might add to get close to the taste that you are after.

I looked at the one for Marlboro 100s box. It's interesting that licorice is an additive. I wouldn't have thought about that one.

You're right. This list could be a good experimental source for DIY.

I mainly mix seedmans commercial and TA. Wyatt Earp from Freedomsmokeusa has a licorice taste to it. I sometimes add that to my mixes for a different sensation. I may have to get some concentrate and give it a try

There's all sorts of weird stuff in cigs. The one that sticks out is Valerian in Liggetts. I used to drink Valerian tea to help me sleep at night until it started giving me wild, lucid dreams about people chasing me lol.
