Anything is greatly appreciated. I have noticed that most of the tobacco also have some hints of other flavors in them which is not something I planned on. A whole new world has opened up and like I said since I am going to be getting a dripper building decks in next! What a week so far and only Hump Day!

My ADV with little variations is
HS Desert Ship or HS Highway or No5 as standalones at 6%, I make 100mls at a time
RTS tobacco absolute standalone at 5% same make 100mls
I blend 50mls the HS tobacs and the RTS at 60HS/40RTS, maybe 50/50 or whatever percentage I decide to make to change the taste a bit
Add 1-2% acetyl pyrazine depending on how I feel.
This is what I vape 10+mls a day of for the last almost year.

IMW Virginia TA at 3%
Cohiba SC- started at 5%, almost blew my head off now cut back to 1.25% and it adds a nice cigar sharpness to a tobac.
FA 7 leaves I have to mix at 12% and blend it with a 5% HS Deluxe, they are both sweet so I don't vape much of those.
My YUK list of tobaccos is:
-Cap True tobacco- medicine taste
-FA Maxx Blend- stale tasting
-INW Canadian Type- super sweet with burnt maple background
-FA Tuscan Reserve- like licking a ashtray
-FA SOHO- another stale off tasting concentrate

Thanks AlterUrEgo! Interesting how 5% almost blew your head off and had to cut almost 75% to 1.25%. I can see this will be a time consuming project this weekend. I was trying to find a good starting point but the consensus is start very low and work your way up. If I start with 30 MLs I could wind up with 100 before I find something vapable.

Thanks again for your detailed information!

I vape tobaccos primarily and I'm going to put it to you in my terms. I'm not a percentage or weight mixer, I prefer to use drops. Maybe helpful, maybe not, but I've come too far now....
In 10 ml base:
10 drops tobacco flavoring total
2 drops total Ethyl maltol (my preference)
I also prefer menthol so 3 drops total

Shake it like you were just hired as chief shaker of some company who does that sort of thing...... And then....
Vape it.
And not like 1 or 2 puffs, I'm talking at least a full ml. You will love it, hate it or it will be indifferent. Make a note of what you like or hate and change the next batch to suit your taste.
In terms of steeping, I'm really the black sheep when it comes to tobaccos since I never steep any of my mixes, but it seems to work for a lot of folks who use tobacco flavoring.
You gotta suck it up and try, man. Lots of folks here trying to help you.

Well it's not rocket surgery. It's more common sense then anything else. It seems he was just giving you his opinion on relabeled flavorings which a lot of vendors do. Maybe we shouldn't all get so confrontational and have a respectable discussion. I'm only saying this because you were a bit confrontational to me as well in another thread. In fact in that thread the original poster decided to stop posting in that thread and PM'ed me to finish the discussion. I would like to give you some very friendly advice. It would serve to your advantage to not be so confrontational and use some restraint in your responses. After all there are many here that have many years of experience and would only be to happy to help you but there beginning to get put off by some of these responses...

I did not start this thread to be confrontational but to find the comment left like I did this morning was not me starting it. Many of my comment receive many likes and for someone to come into my thread and have a problem with me not wanting anything but personal experiences is not right. In ever response I thanked those who replied. If you do not like my post you can always pass on it. Also in the other thread you mentioned if my memory serves me right you apologized to me.

Now this is getting off topic so please do not continue this discuss about who said what. :offtopic:

I've been sitting in the corner watching this thread since you started it because I knew it would devolve into something like this. It's apparent either you A: can't take criticism, B: You enjoy confrontation, C: Don't really know how internet forums actually work or D: You're acting this way on purpose. With our run-ins in the "What Are You Vaping" thread and the now closed "What's Up With This E-Liquid" thread you make a very good attempt at being the snide, know-it-all, quick to pop off type.

The fact that you have in one way or another insulted many a veteran member here in this thread and others, including myself it's a wonder you're getting any responses at all. It stands to reason that if threads you're involved in go down the toilet with posts like the ones you've made in this thread and the others referenced above the common denominator is you Steve.

Everyone here was trying to help you in your DIY journey. One reason they are being vague is because I consider DIY a personal journey full of trial and error, hardships and happy moments. No one can tell you what will taste good to you. That's for you to figure out.

What I suggest is that you apologize for the comments you made to @dannyv45 and others for your actions in this and other threads. As I said in the "What's Up With This Eliquid?" thread "...Your tenure here will be much more enjoyable".

Why is that so many members must stick there noses in here and continue this confrontational commenting? I did not start this and I started this thread looking for ONLY Personal experiences not links to recipes posted somewhere. Do not tell me I started this nonsense I am only tired of all those of you watching this thread looking for a time to just in and go off topic.

Thanks for your input.
