Anyone ever try American Spirits or Pure Cig tobacco from Freedom Smokes?

I tried their tobacco sampler that includes both of these. I definitely recommend getting a sampler or small sizes. I smoked american spirits for 15 years, and their american spirit flavor is OK. I'm not really sure if it even tastes that similar, but it is decent in it's own right. My favorite 'tobacco' still to this day is Halos tribeca, even though it's an ry4 type of flavor. Halo has it listed under their tobaccos - whether it actually tastes like smoke or not is to be debated, but it just tastes right. It's a very high quality, smooth, rich flavor. So many other vendors have cheap, fake tasting stuff it seems.

Halo's prime 15 tastes the most like an actual cigarette to me, and definitely gives me the most buzz out of all their flavors I've tried (even at the same nic level - 18mg).

I just tried E-cig Express' Premium Tobacco flavor, and must say it is very good, to my taste anyway. I smoked MMenthols for years, and occasionally lights which tasted like crap to me, so I am quite surprised to like a pure tobacco flavor this much. Anyone else try this flavor? Like it or no?

How does unflavored Nic juice compare to cigarettes? Get a high nic level for the throat hit and it just seems it would be the least opposed to what smoking a regualr cig is like.

Cigs really dont taste like much other than fire and heat IMO...I just get tired of places trying to POUND my tongue with flavor. I have Bobas and Watermelon and stuff like that for OMGFLAVOR, but after awhile...I just want simple and smooth.

Too many of these real tobacco flavors are just too obsessed with excessive taste.

ZODAS,

Yes I have. I would place both of them on my short list of true tobacco flavors. I also recommend their pall mall and 7 leaves.
Their floavors overall is about the closest I have found to a true analog replacement.

Steve

I cant find their pall mall, is it under a different special name? I searched for it and found nothing and going through 30 pages of e liquids (poorly organized) is a pain. Can you link me to it?

EDIT: NVM...I found it. Its on page 42 and typing Pall Mall in the search didnt bring it up.

May I ask, what do you wish to duplicate? "Tobacco" flavor is in the leaf, the variety, the growing & harvesting technique, the curing process, and even the weather from the time it was set until it was primed. Cigarette flavor is largly influenced by the filter used with the tobacco chosen and of course by the additives used to duplicate the same "brand taste" pack after pack, production after production. At auction, tobacco buyers look for the quality of the leaf, smell, texture, and so forth and bid to produce more than just cigarettes. Are you looking for "tobacco", or are you looking for "cigarette" flavor? Tobacco can be found in many true flavors with as much variety as the real thing, cigarettes, however could be much more difficult to simulate, especially if you're trying for a specific brand.

Best wishes in your search and please share your reviews of your discoveries!

Grimm Greens video HERE kind of sums the tobacco search up pretty good.
Still looking for a menthol for the Mrs and a good Red for myself......lol.

Great summation! I'm glad he mentioned Turkish because I had never tried it prior to getting Turkish e-juice and "musky" certainly describes my experience with it :)

Thanks for the link!!

I have tried both. Compared to some of the other tobacco flavors I have had they are on the bottom of the list. The Pure Cig tasted nothing like a cigarette at all to me, just had a nice throat hit. I would recommend GoodEJuice's Patriot Tobacco Blend or Organic Tobacco #1; they have a true tobacco taste and great analog-like throat hit.

How is menthol tobacco not a tobacco flavor? I smoked menthol cigarettes for years. The flavor being imitated is tobacco + menthol

Menthol is a flavor added to tobacco...which completely overpowers the flavor of the actual tobacco making it something completely different.

Its a legit product...no doubt....but a tobacco sampler should be just straight tobacco flavor and menthol should have its own menthol sampler. I dont know too many smokers that smoked regulars and menthol...so including both in a sampler isnt the best decision.

Also...your Anti Hero logo is DOPE! John Cardiel is, ironically, my hero.

Crap...someone else had them in their short list of the best.

I wish this wasnt subjective and the answer to "the best tobacco" flavor was as simple as 2+2=4.

See this is exactly what I mean. In my mind they truley reminded me of an analog but to you they weren't that good. But I will take your recommendation and try the ones you suggested. I am so bummed out on reading reviews spending a lot of money and anticipation only to go ----BLEH---- when they come in.
