TOBACCO FLAVOR USERS, please

See this is exactly what I mean. In my mind they truley reminded me of an analog but to you they weren't that good. But I will take your recommendation and try the ones you suggested. I am so bummed out on reading reviews spending a lot of money and anticipation only to go ----BLEH---- when they come in.

Steve

I know the feeling. :( I usually order 5 different flavors from a vendor when I try new ones and I usually only like 1 or 2 of them. Luckily I can throw them on the classifieds here and earn some cash back for more juices! :)

May I ask, what do you wish to duplicate? "Tobacco" flavor is in the leaf, the variety, the growing & harvesting technique, the curing process, and even the weather from the time it was set until it was primed. Cigarette flavor is largly influenced by the filter used with the tobacco chosen and of course by the additives used to duplicate the same "brand taste" pack after pack, production after production. At auction, tobacco buyers look for the quality of the leaf, smell, texture, and so forth and bid to produce more than just cigarettes. Are you looking for "tobacco", or are you looking for "cigarette" flavor? Tobacco can be found in many true flavors with as much variety as the real thing, cigarettes, however could be much more difficult to simulate, especially if you're trying for a specific brand.

Best wishes in your search and please share your reviews of your discoveries!

I guess you nailed it...Im looking for cigarette flavor as its the only way I ever used tobacco.

Its impossible to replicate I know, but 99% of the people that vape were former cigarette smokers. Not exactly tobacco connoisseurs either. So this mumbo jumbo of flue cured hickory aged cuban havana style Turkish blend tobacco is just...well...obnoxious.

I dont want something that tastes like an ashtray or punches me with mad flavor...but something that just simulates the feeling of smoking a cigarette. Subtle, smooth and relaxing. I smoked cigs for 16 of my 32 years and I never thought it was an experience of taste...but more of activity. I want something I can do over and over and over without the taste becoming a distraction. Thats why I thought nic juice would be nice...the subtle flavor of VG with a high nic content to just be subtle and relaxing. Then when I want FLAVOR or Bobas or whatever...its going to taste that much better.

I just got a job after a long period of being broke so Im going to be making a God sized order very soon and will definitely update. This place has helped me soooo much so I intend on returning the flavor.

...as of now...Casablanca from BWB is the only flavor that seems to get it right IMO.

lol...good you guys are both here. You two fight it out and Ill take the winners opinion.

This is what happened with me with Straight Up from moondrop...so many people said it was so unique and the closest to a cigarette flavor yet...and it tasted like I took a bite out of a pine tree.

I took two hits of it...taryn spinned it out of my cart, put the juice back in the bottle and now it sits.

So if anyone wants to trade Id be happy too...it wasnt the most stellar review I just gave but opinions and tastes are all different.

Zodas,
I think you may be on the right track by buying your nic level in base liquid. That will give you the opportunity to play around with those that are close, but not quite right by adding a little base to the pre-mixed and lighten up the flavor without diluting your nic strength. I don't DIY from scratch, but I do "doctor" the flavors I purchase to suit my preferences.

Again, best wishes and let us know how it goes!!

I also want to consolidate this thread...its a god send and Im not sure why there isnt a sticky already of something like this.

People said after a month youll hate that cig taste and want some of those DELICIOUS flavors...

...still not the case...I like some of these powerful flavors...Bobas is good, moondrops watermelon is awesome as well as others...but after 2 or 3 days of using it...it just gets old. Im more orally fixated than an infant and I am constantly using these things so I just need something that is simple and as non offensive as a cig to my tastebuds.

All these cotton candy blueberry mint sprinkled with honey and dipped in carmel with a hint of pineapple flavors are just ridiculous.

Zodaz,

Thats the point....there is no winner nor any reason to duke it out. I still read recommendations from people....in fact thats the first thing I search for is recommendations. About the only value I put on them is the keywords just like the OP said. If I hear perfume Im outta there because thats what I hate. TPA has one tobacco flavor that just plain blows (M-Type).....everything made with it reminds me of vaping a bouquet. There is one vendor that uses it as a base flavor for all his tobacco's so now I know not to buy his. Some apparently love it...I just can't stand it. Probably the thing I miss most from a vape is a good strong Throat Hit but moreso probably a good Chest Hit. I truly miss that first thing in the morning, pour a cup of coffee, light up, inhale and feel it in my lungs......and yes I have tried the higher nics but still can't duplicate it.

Yeah...Im rockin 24mg for that reason and I still take power hits and feel no real throat hit. Some things are so strong they sort of overwhelm my throat but its not a soothing throat hit...its more like taking a shot of whiskey than a cig.

Im not upping the mg though...24 is as high as I go.

I want to kick my PC when I read descriptions like you described on vendor sites...

"A true tobacco taste with a hint of..." - floral, nutty, sweet, cocoa, vanilla, carmel etc..

Now doesnt that make it NOT a true tobacco flavor?

That is the one, it "smells fishy" when you sniff the bottle - to me (for lack of a better description) but vapes like a cigarette , really odd , but SO good (to ME at least) it's one juice that improves with 5 v but is still good @ 3.4 on Ego 1000 mAh on Boge 2ohm cartos , the smokey flavor really is like a smoke (not "woodsy or hickory etc. ) YMMV

Menthol is a flavor added to tobacco...which completely overpowers the flavor of the actual tobacco making it something completely different.

Its a legit product...no doubt....but a tobacco sampler should be just straight tobacco flavor and menthol should have its own menthol sampler. I dont know too many smokers that smoked regulars and menthol...so including both in a sampler isnt the best decision.

Also...your Anti Hero logo is DOPE! John Cardiel is, ironically, my hero.

Mad respect. Your use of logic and reasoning just gained a friend.
Thanks for the compliment on my avatar. Anti-Hero's always been one of my favorite board companies.

I tried a turkish before...myvaporstore I think...and it tasted good...but it was more like flavored air. I kinda passed on that type of flavor thinking all those "Turkishes" were the same...but maybe Ill give it another go.

Agreed there are some not so good ones out there, which are labeled "Turkish"; this one (to me) was so close to smoking to be a bit scary , to be fair I only have the 20 ml bottle and may have gotten lucky but I kinda doubt that, would be strange for my luck to change LOL

I was put off by the way it smelled so put it back and forgot about it for awhile, remembered it and felt it deserved a taste at least, dripped a few times and went straight to filling a ce2, and two Boge. I don't vape it all the time but have daily since trying it. Nothing I have tried can kill a bad craving any better (and it's only 24mg and I have some 36mg)

I get that on all of their tobaccos with the exception of Texas and Tampa. They are both very cigarette-like, to me.

Good news since I just ordered a 15mL bottle of Tampa.

...had to sound off on Zoda's comment. 20 something years a menthol smoker, I could NEVER stand a non-menthol
smoke....too often, to me a normal cig tasted akin to what I felt would be going outside and trying to smoke dried lawn clippings.

I always preferred a menthol but could smoke anything from a Red to a very occasional non-filter. But I agree, smoking a non-menthol was never a pleasant experience.

The only tobaccos I have found I like ( hubby loves) is... Again ECBlend!

I don't know why but theirs tastes better to me than the expensive ones :/ I have thier RY4, desert gold ( so close to Camel I can't even tell ya! Tastes like you just opened a fresh pack I swear!) choc vanilla 555 ( my fav) vanilla butternut, black magic ( strong! Fri. Night vape) ummmm, oh hubby's fav red box new ( he lives on the stuff! Whines like a kid if he's out!) ummmm yeah, see my point?

I've tried others but they don't have that smokey flavor on exhale like a real cig. These got me completely off the stinkies. I tell myself why go buy a pack when I have the same thing here without going out. ( so far that's working lol )
