Hi,

I've been trying the DIY thing for a few weeks with some success but have yet to find a true tobacco note.

I bought FA Maxx on the recommendation of a review but I predominantly taste chocolate.
Its not bad but not what I was trying to find - just a clean pure tobacco that I can build flavours on top of.

As a reference one of my favourites is Flavour Crafters Maple Cured.
To my taste it has a very clean tobacco undertone that I really would like to replicate.

If anyone has any recommendations or suggestions I would be very grateful.

Thank you in advance :)

Hi chief,

Thanks for the feedback - I'll have to try to find some RY1 to try as it seems to be quite popular

I need to find a good maple extract too. Flavour Crafters makes two maple options and i sent them a message as they were so different it was shocking. In the one I liked they said they used maple extract while the other was an artificial flavouring.

Thanks again for the recommendation :)

Kindest regards,
-Ian

I really like the VapingZone concentrated tobacco flavors.
They are good between 2-3% total flavoring as a starting point.
I recommend. .....
Blended Tobacco
Real Cig
Parliament
Tobacco Light
Dunhill
Virginia

Toss in a drop or 2 of tobacco absolute and you have a great base to work from or just vape straight.

All the RYs have some caramel sweetness. I don't find Hangsen Ry1 or Ry3 overly sweet but I'm a fan of Ry4. I just ordered some Highway and Tab Blend, looking forward to trying them out. Finding tobaccos you like is a challenge. What I like about Hangsen is they tend to have flavors that are not perfumey or floral like some of the the other brands. I also have some DIY NETs from myvapestore that are pretty good. Vaping on Savage right now.

Another fan of the Hangsen T5 here. Also, I like the RealCig from Vaping Zone that savagemann mentioned (also called MLB in the EcigExpress 'Tobacco Express' line). There's a thread around here about Inawera flavors. I haven't tried any yet, but the tobaccos are getting great reviews.
