Your not alone.I picked one up on the $7.99 deal,and same as your's mine wont budge either.I haven't tried putting it in the freezer,i just figure i dont need it apart right now,so i'll figure it out whenever i have to pull it apart haha.

You'll be happy to know my 2ndnwas PERFECT. No problems getting it apart. Also, Tue first one I got had a really tight ceramic fit and the chimney didn't sit tight up top (can be fixed with a fatter o-ring) none of which affects its use so far. Bit the 2nd one has a nice right chimney and a looser fitting ceramic. I'm gonna keep that one boxed up and just use the jacked one until I can't any more, which may be forever but for now she stays in the box all perfect. Lol.
