Completely. I haven't had a cig all day, I won't tomorrow, or any day after that. I took about two or three weeks running both my vape and cigs, just to try and get used to it. I found that I loved vaping so much, it took me about a week to go through a pack (I was a pack a day smoker), and I'm not buying anymore.

Onward and upward :) I think I'll be alright. I haven't really had any withdrawls except deep down wanting a real cig. But I shall resist. It's not so bad really.

In other news, by accidentally putting Espresso juice in an old Menthol carto, I discovered that Espresso+Menthol=Mint Mocha!!!!! Delicious!

I'm a wiz at blending. Sometimes the accidents are the best. You'd be surprised what tastes good together. Never throw out a juice. You can salvage just about every one. Congrats on leaving the stinkies behind. I had a slip up or two since converting to PVs. I haven't slipped up in a long, long time and feel I could outlast any PV disaster now. The best advice I can give is to order spares of everything. And have backups for your spares. That seems to happen in time for all of us. If you upgrade to something new, keep you old stuff for at least a month or two till you are stocked up there as well.

The convenience store on the corner of my street sells cheapo starter kits for like $20. That's my back up plan in case of total system failure. But I have two batteries and two methods to charge in my kit. I primarily use old polyfill cartos right now (as it turns out, they work fine to refill, for ages actually) and I'm about to order some nonpoly cartos, and an atty+drip tip set up. I also have a blank tank-tankomizer set up that I absolutely can't freakin' stand. But I keep it as a back up, if worst comes to worst. Better than nothing.

I'm also using 24 mg juice, pretty much chain vaping. I have doubts that doing such is good for me, but after trying the 16 mg juice, I'm confident it's what I need to get myself through this. Once I've gotten over "heck" week completely off analogs, I'll probably be able to drop it.

But the thing is, I know darn well vaping is less efficient than smoking. One of the reasons is the ammonia they add to cigs. When combusted, it essentially freebases the nicotine. If anyone knows anything about the nature of freebasing a substance like nicotine, it serves to make it much more potent and addictive. Plus there are other addictive properties of cigs.

So I think I'm doing pretty well. The longest I've made it cold turkey without a cig is half a day, and the longest I've made it on NRTs is two days without a cig; they just didn't work for me. I couldn't feel anything but cravings.

Well i did stop smoking last year for a couple of days, but the craving was always there. In the end i started smoking again back to step 1.

It's so difficult, hopefully Vaping will finally cure me. I just hope it doesn't lead to another addiction.

It's not really a "cure," more like an alternative. And it's certainly not a magical fix, I know that. You definitely have to want to make the change.

Congrats! You know, when I first found ecf, I'd read people encouraging others in their process to quit and it's HUGE to hear the encouragement. I'd also see comments like "it' only get's better", etc...but I couldn't comprehend how it could "get better". Now that I've been vaping for a little over two months, I can comprehend this. I really doubted that it could get better but it certainly has and it continues. This community is unique in it's ability to pass on experienced knowledge, helpful hints, etc...You know, I think that the COMBINATION of e-cigs AND this forum is what made me successful in quitting.

Congrats! I stopped cold turkey on the analogs when I started vaping. The first couple of days I craved the analogs but after that, I was fine. Just keep reminding yourself of all the money you are saving, the cig smell that will no longer follow you around and how much better this is going to be for you in general! I haven't used my asthma inhaler in two months since I started vaping. :)
