Can anyone tell me why the mandatory 15 posts (or whatever it was) in the new member's forum requirement was removed? Sure did keep a lot of junk off the main discussion board. There's all these threads of one guy making a post and never coming back to check it while we go on talking about it for weeks at a time.

I'd like to make a petition to bring back the mandatory new member posts but I'd like to know why it was removed in the first place.
I think that happened with the switch from vBulletin to XenForo. The new software brought a lot of great features, but the board also lost a few, such as the acronym decoder, and (I assume), the ability to limit new users to a certain section.

Seem to recall the restriction was in place when I joined Aug 2018 – but I may be thinking of one of the other restrictions, such as links or posting pictures. This thread explaining the new user restrictions was edited May 2019 to remove (strike out) the forum restriction.

I hate to break it to the OP but tolerance doesn't work like that. Once your brain has adjusted to something, it takes a CONSIDERABLE amount of time to get your "Buzz" back and even if you do for the first 2 juul vapes, that tolerance is going to fade quickly and never return.

I know plenty of (myself included) opiate users who chased that high after stopping for months or even years. It's never the same, it doesn't last, it is SO not worth it.

If you are in it for the buzz, don't bother (and try two months but don't BOTHER.) If you need to vape (which you clearly don't if you can stop for two months don't BOTHER.

I remember the cigarette buzz from when I was first smoking. I would go all day at school without a smoke, then in the evening after dinner take the dog for a walk and fire one up on the beach. It was kind of lightweight as buzzes go but quite exciting at the time. I don't know if I would have gone on getting that buzz if I had stuck to one cig a day, but that was never going to happen anyway.

I guess it's the same with Juuls.

I hear candy can also give you quite a buzz maybe that would be a somewhat less harmful thing to do of course not stating that vaping is harmful in comparison to cigarettes but it's definitely not as good as not vaping or smoking or using nicotine stuff. I mean sugar is probably not great for you but if you're looking for a buzz how about a cup of coffee? I mean honestly if you have gone to either no Nic Vape or have quit cold turkey for two whole weeks maybe see if you can keep going I understand some people don't want to quit and that's okay but people that don't want to quit also don't usually put down the nicotine products for two weeks by choice

I've heard the "buzz'" is from carbon monoxide and/or oxygen deprivation or both.

Based on how I smoked, my brain must have needed LITTLE oxygen to function and I would have never tried the old garage trick.

Although, there are times I have thought about it, and then thought, "I can do it in stages, and just like, chain smoke a bit right now."

I'm sorry OP but you started a silly thread now see what happens. It's like spilt grey matter in here.

Vaping an Avenger mod today with a Kayfun Lite at .23 26G SS parallel coil and 30mg Nicsalts. Used to be my favorite mechanical. Just has a rounded bottom as most would remember so it does not stand up on its own. Sure don't find Nicsalts has less hit than freebase. But vaping 30mg Nicsalts compared to 6mg freebase. Nice to be able to go back to old school again since I already own it all. HAHAHA!

Back in high school, I use to get nic sick from swallowing chew.
There was this guy back in HS who would give chew to newbies, wait a minute and then sneak up on them and smack them on the back... they would swallow it and he enjoyed watching them puke! Years later, I got a mechanic job and the boss introduced me to the manager... guess who?
