I have a few. Ordering a bunch of stuff from paypal without checking my address (and it had been a Time) and GEARBEST YES GEARBEST refused to work with me on sending it back even when I offered to pay shipping again. They were like, "It is in the TOS" and it was, but I still HATE them and have never used them again.

Couple dry hits: One priming a nautilus coil not realizing my Tesla Steampunk spun from 6 watts to 120. It was SUPER unexpected (and not the best priming process) and it SUCKED.

Also, driving in the dark did not lock my legend and it FRIED my Zenith coil because it got up to like 186 watts or something. It was a LONG pull, too. I'm surprised I stayed on the road. The coil was so messed up it would not read the next day!!!! I think worst dry hit ever.

Combining a margarita mix with a gin and tonic mix in the same bottle. It was..... Well, it was one of the very few mixes I did not try to rescue, I just PITCHED it,

Have not tried either of those mixes again yet I think I was a bit traumatized.

Would be good for someone with vapor's tongue probably should have saved it and doled it out LOL

Anna
Might've spared me some dull days.

In the early days some mods 510 connection did not have a spring loaded pin so if your tank or RDA's 510 pin was long it would push the mods 510 into the mod so deep you couldn't pull it back up. This happened to me with a ISTICK 30, the mod still works fine but only with the tank that pushed the 510 pin in to it.

Soon after I quit smoking (thanks to vaping) I was riding my scooter and vaping my first real mod (A Zenesis), happy as can be. One of the things I really liked about smoking was taking that last final drag and flicking the .... away from me. Well, it took me a while to break that habit (I went through a lot of replacement Pyrex tanks) and this day was no different except when I flicked my Zen, I happened to be riding next to the front of the Chicago chapter of the Hell's Angels. The Zen caught the lead rider right in the eye and the first six to seven riders went down like domino's. Naturally I stopped and said I was sorry and offered to help but apparently courtesy isn't contagious with this crowd as they yelled "Kill him!" So I hopped on my scooter and took off. I lead them on a medium speed chase down 294 until they caught me at the Tollway Oasis (where I went to fill up. According to the unwritten rules of the highway chase, if someone stops for gas, every one waits and then when he has his gas, the chase continues. It's just like a yellow flag at Indy but apparently biker gangs have a hard time following the rules). They beat me to the tune of Pharrell William's Happy Song that was playing on my handlebar mounted speakers. That was a pretty bad day but the Oasis had a Sbarro's so I comforted my wounds over a few slices of mediocre pizza.

    Now that seriously sucks.

Various occasions where Prince Baby et similia kept opening in my pocket (usually I wear cargo trousers). I only carry one DTL setup with me - because of its mass - and it is the one which give all sorts of trouble. I bought a number of Ello T tanks, which have traditional screw tops, but they look sad on most mods.

Also this very common, as Anna told above, I do MTL with various tanks using Nautilus coils, on mods which had overshoot their power setting. Worst is the Dani which goes up to 12 V or the eLeaf QC - tree cells - causing an explosion into the coil.

Testing a empty tank with mesh coils, they shoot a nice long flame out the drip tip after less than a second of fire time.

Wow, I was lucky to be watching the display of the device when the tank behaved like a firework!

I'm allergic to menthol - not a psicological intolerance, a true problem where tasting buds are disabled for the rest of day after a single draw.

Well, here in the UK a good 90 percent of "premium" eliquids contain some form of "cooling".

A flavourist told me that "cooling" is required because if a person drinks (alcohol) on a regular basis, or eat spicy foods in the same manner, they can't taste much flavour, if the e-liquid doesn't contain some "enhancer" - menthol is not a flavour per se, but a nerve sensitiviser, much like glutammate in food.

After this long foreword - a large number of e-liquids contain some undeclared menthol or other "cooling" - twenty dollars in the bin at each shot.

Last thing - the mandatory 10 ml juice bottles, when I have eliminated all unnecessary plastic from my house routine, the only refuse are these unwanted little bottles, that I feel as they are forced upon me.

My saddest experience was losing the ability to get and keep a certain tank running. The Exceed tank was absolutely awesome coming from the nautilus. Just couldn't keep away dry and burnt hits.
Had the same exact issue with Smok cartos back in the day. How can you get a burnt hit from a gurgling coil?

I shorted an 18650 into thermal runaway in a mech and got a fireworks display in my office. I also shorted an unwrapped cell with my wedding band and got a really nasty burn around the circumference of my finger.

This is where my coil experience REALLY belongs. Put a premade coil in a container often used for my meds, and put my meds in it in the dead of night. Swallowed it without NOTICING (impressive in and of itself.)

I thought I had hemorrhoids REALLY when it came out the other end (LOL, I did not in fact have them) and yes, I'm glad I didn't like get a perforated bowl or anything.

I have to admit my biggest resentment was spending 30 on H products I did not in fact NEED. H products are like, really specific. I suppose I could give them away but who accepts OPEN H products? I wouldn't.

IDK. That could have bought a really nice driptip. Yes, I got a very specific container for my meds with a lid.

I think I win this one though... really. Or, LOSE. Depending on your perspective.

    It so SUCKED,

    Anna

I guess my worse experience was back in the day. I basically started my vaping journey with mechs and gennys and back then not to many knew what vaping really was (if they did, it was simply cig a likes around here) never mind a set up like I was vaping. Anyways I use to vape incognito, because most who seen me thought I was smoking crack or something , which with business signs on my truck, wasnt cool. I was at a light one time and looked over and seen a young boy watching me, just then his mother looked and caught me vaping, she gave me the dirtiest look and pulled the boys head around as to not look......I will never forget that and it always bothered me....I felt like getting out and telling her it's a vape device, but I didnt think that was a good thing to do either
