Kids.

I saw some show while channel surfing and some kid was holding his breath till on the verge of passing out. Strange.

Don't they still make model glue?

Whatever happened to sitting on a barber chair and spinning around really fast then trying to stand up? That still around?

Can anyone tell me why the mandatory 15 posts (or whatever it was) in the new member's forum requirement was removed? Sure did keep a lot of junk off the main discussion board. There's all these threads of one guy making a post and never coming back to check it while we go on talking about it for weeks at a time.

I'd like to make a petition to bring back the mandatory new member posts but I'd like to know why it was removed in the first place.

The other thread on Gum Pain was posted in the new members section and has generated 46 responses so far. 5 posts, 15 posts – any new user can still troll, regardless of where they are restricted to. I’ve even seen new members meet the min posts requirements before going on a trolling spree. Personally, I think these posts should be ignored and reported instead of feeding the OP the devotion they seek. Call this person an underage kid as much as we want – they are the ones sitting back, laughing and enjoying the attention and stirring the pot. Don’t feed the trolls!

I keep giving people like this a chance and usually wish I hadn't wasted my time and effort. Sometimes they do turn out to be worthy (maybe just not good with using forums or from another country, ect) One of new people here is from russia and his first post really seemed like a "troll" but he turned out to be OK. It's a "crap shoot" I guess. If they are full of BS, we do a good job of chasing them off. If they end up getting completely out of control, the mods delete them (like that guy screaming at everyone and saying things like "I killed my parents") Others like the "rubber teeth" guy we just killed him with jokes. We are all a bit stressed and intolerant because of the anti-vaping BS, the media and the damned trolls.
So, OP... how do you fit into all of this?

I like the buzz feeling I used to get when I started vaping and want to feel that again so iv stopped vaping for the past 2 weeks but im afraid that wont be enough.
Any one else do the same thing and how long did you wait and did it work?
Ps I used to vape a good amount, id say i used to smoke about a juul pod a day.
If it's the buzz you are after, nicotine is a lame choice. There are better options!
    Try to stay safe.

I believe the OP was sincere... not a troll. Most likely a teen, those were not digs at the OP, they were conclusions/educated guesses. But according to his stats, he has not been back since the first post he made.... it's not like we scared him off, he simply posted and never came back to read any of the posts. That happens quite often around here.

You do not chase off a troll. Their objective is to pull a pin on a grenade and throw it into a room full of people, then sit back and watch the carnage. They know and fully understand their time is limited on a forum. How much damage can be done within that limited time! Giving them the attention they seek is playing into their game.

There are sure signs of genuine users who wish to join this forum. A proper introduction or a creative user name, as an example. "Michaelgumpain" opening a thread on “GUM PAIN” is a sure sign of someone trolling.

Ignore. And if suspect, report and let the moderators deal with it.

Yeah, but I think at least half of us don't even look at that forum. :D I only posted to the gum pain thread because I saw it in the recent posts widget and felt compelled to post a reply that I believe that new members who start those threads are probably shills for the FDA, TFK or other similar "organization".

2.1+ million messages in the New Member section. 1.7+ million messages in the General Vaping section. I’d say the New Member subforum gains a lot of attention.

It’s quite possible these are shills for the FDA or some other anti vaping organization. And if so, every response to these threads is a confirmed read. Propaganda does not work without an audience.

I have been walking around with a nicbuzz for a day and a half. Needed a 10 minute nap this afternoon. Testing out 30mg nicsalts in a old mechanical Nemesis and a Kayfun from years ago. Working well as years ago it was my go to vape. Sure going through a lot less juice not subohming.
