Tomacco e-juice?

This originates from a Simpsons where Homer and Bart grew hybrid tomato tobacco plants. "It tastes horrible but I can't stop eating it!"

Seriously though, I have opened bags of Virginia pipe tobacco and it smelled for all the world like ketchup.

I can't help but wonder if a touch of tomato flavoring to a straight tobacco base would give it a little zing and perhaps come a bit closer to the real McCoy.

I don't have a DIY lab set up yet, so I can't try this. Have any of you tried this combination?

You have to wonder about our sence of smell and taste sometimes. My girlfriend and I smell things completely different to each other some times.
