Alright well its been awhile since ive shopped for new equipment. I live in modesto and my local shop is cropduster901. I recently went in to get some liq and hes got some new things called tanks? What are tanks vs clearomizers? And whats up with all these new cartos? I have been using ce2 clearo's for years but im in the mood to try something new. Can anyone share some info or links with information about all the "CE#" cartomizers, tanks, and anything else im missing thanks guys. I guess gone with the days of everyone using either drip straight on the bridge or carto's. I also remember way back in the day when cartridge mods were the hot thing everyone was talking about. Haha have a kid and put the computer down and you miss out on so much!!

Two types I use everyday are CE3s and ViVi Nova tanks. Both just plain work well. My "work" kit consists of KGO 650 mah batteries and a handful of CE3s loaded with different juice. While it takes a syringe to fill the CE3s - they work so well that it's worth the small hassle.

I've tried "Stardusts" in many variations and from many vendors - way to inconsistent for me...

What are tanks vs clearomizers?
A tank system is a cartomizer with a hole punched in it surrounded by a plastic or glass tank. Fill the tank and juice saturates the filler/ stuffing in the carto by way of the punched hole.
A Clearomizer is a plastic or metal tank with wicks and an element inside with NO filler or stuffing. Happily using the V2 Stardust for 2+ weeks. Realize when vaping citrus based juices the tank or clearomizer may develop cracks an leak.

Alright well that clears some things up, thanks! One of the things he had were ce5 clearo's, anyone have any experience with those? Also some good companies/suppliers to buy clearomizers from?

Check out gotvapes.com. The new Phoenix, which is a ce3, is awesome. Since discovering it, I have tossed my cartomizers. If you want a bigger clearo/tank, check out the vivi nova. I am loving it. Neither one will crack from cinnamon or citrus

Thanks for the link. Tons of great stuff. Only thing is the amount of stuff. I was looking at the phoenix and i saw top coil that looked basically like the ce2 and then there were bottom coil and sleeved and sleeveless?

Whats the difference between the top and bottom coil other than the obvious placement of coil. The only thing i can think of is since it is on the bottom there is going to be cooling of the vapor which i think would make a smoother hit. Don't think i would like that, i tried the carto's that have filler and those have always been to smooth for me, i always like the hot harsh hit of a top coil ce2, so much i dont even use a tip i like it almost straight off the coil. I cut the plastic where the tip goes and just use the little silicone piece that you insert the needle into as a tip.

You can try the Smoktech DCT tank for $12.99 most anywhere and that includes the prepunched carto.

Here, it's on sale for $10.99

I am deffintely looking at the Novi for my new VV.

Dude, just do it. 13.00 for the tank and 3 heads. Even if you never rebuild a head the vivi is like getting 3 regular clearos for 4 bucks a piece. And you can get replacement heads for less than $3.00 a piece. :)

Even if you end up not liking it I'd say for the price its worth the risk.

Take a look at his video on Youtube (honestly I don't know why you don't have that in your sig, Mr. Outlaw) Its lengthy, but worth the time.
