'Experts' are everywhere and not just about vaping. I spent a week in hospital recently recovering from sepsis. Toward the end of that week somebody brought me in a coffee and a nurse starting wagging her finger and expressing her concern for my well being. Coffee is bad dontcha know.

Now sepsis is a pretty bleak and dark experience and I wasn't in the mood to be particularly sympathetic to the nurses concerns, so I informed her I had survived the human faeces disguised as food which they serve their patients so I'll probably survive my first coffee in a week. She was horrified. I managed a snigger.

Sir, you're in England. You should be drinking tea.

Seriously, if coffee is bad, and vaping is bad, then so be it; I will do some bad things.

I haven't a particle of confidence in a man who has no redeeming petty vices whatsoever.

[nothing more than flavored antifreeze on tampon material/QUOTE]

I’m gonna steal this from you, greatest retort to someone claiming vaping is worse than smoking. Brilliant phrase, reminds me of, “greasy ham sandwich served in a dirty ashtray” a phrase we used to use when someone was hungover and having trouble keeping down that pizza they ate right before passing out on a pile of coats.

At my work an email circulated from the management of the office building stating "stop spraying aerosol based aromas in the ladies room as it harms others". I replied "so it's not harmful to breath in stinky methane? How about installing an exhaust fan so Lysol issue will stop". I heard an applause from the sea of cubilces when I sent it "reply all".

Boy, these folks would've never made it out of the 1970's if a little Lysol harms them. The stuff we used to breath back then?

I have a buddy who wears rubber gloves to check the dipstick on his car engine. I asked "seriously bro, why the gloves?" He responded as serious as a heart attack "motor oil touching the skin causes cancer"
I snapped back "one drop?" He responds "aint taking the chance, nor should you".

I went by Harbor Frieght and bought him some calf birthing gloves. The kind that slide over your arms up to your arm pits. "here ya go buddy, in case the oil on the dipstick runs accidently down your arm."

In the meantime I stealth vape in my cubicle all day long. Every day. A sign on the door says "no guns, no smoking". Nothing about vaping (yet) so I try very hard not to offend anybody with my GrappleBerry aroma'd exhale.

I remember when smoking 'lights' was considered safer than regular cigarettes eg Marlboro Lights etc.
Then if you smoked a “light” cigarette with the added safety of the filter, there was almost no risk whatsoever.

I would suppose that if people smoked filtered "light" cigarettes in the exact same manner and quantity as they had previously smoked full-flavored, unfiltered cig, that this would have constituted some level of harm reduction.

But that's generally not what happened....

I remember a Jay Leno skit on the late show where he joked "so now Winston has a campaign of ads touting 100% natural tobacco. It's good to know I'll have 100% natuaral lung cancer as opposed to that cancer with artificial ingredients".

Jay didn't choose a side. He picked on everybody back then, when late night comedy was still funny.

He once quipped "so our host network has decided to drug test everybody" and turned to his band director and says "hey Kevin, remember drink lots of Mt Dew" implying that since Kevin was a jazz musician he would naturally be a latin lettuce smoker. Replublican. Democrat. Black/white, girl/boy, he never cut any group slack, nor did he belittle anybody. He caused you to laugh at yourself and not take life too serious. That was art.

Nowadays when someone sees a vaper they all too often presume that person is on some kind of self-destruct path because somebody else says that stuff is bad for you. Jay would probably do a skit of some sort to cause us vapers to laugh at ourselves for a couple of seconds. And the scoffers too.

Disposable drip tip covers. I ALWAYS want someone to "hit that":lol: and by "That" I mean they might enjoy the experience and it could be a good thing for vaping.

But, I try not to blame people who don't know. While I am savvy enough to know that most news these days is either incomplete, a cover up, or flat out wrong we do have these generations and folks coming up without knowing THAT and I try not to blame them for their ignorance.

I blame common core and then everything that comes afterwards but yeah, it's sad what people will believe.

But if *I* don't try to deprogram someone from a piece of propaganda, who will?

I remember a chick in Sierra Vista who made some funny "I hate Trump" valentines and she was showing me them and she said, "I decided not to do it because some people might like Trump."

Sort of slowly I started inserting some pieces of information about Trump that were perhaps, not so evil. I got about 7 out and she was like, "Did you vote for Trump?" And I was like, "I don't really want to say, but I am TELLING you there are two sides to every coin, that's all. Never forget that."

Then I was gonna walk away, but I HAD to do it, so I said "Except Obama. Both sides of that coin are BLACK as Satan," or words to that effect.

And it wasn't really fair I mean Obama has had to have done SOME good things, like LEAVING the White House, that was an awesome act that he did.

But, whether it's vaping or presidencies, I just think getting people to THINK for themselves is AWESOME.

We got to do it. The generations before us our counting on it. You do not know you are programmed until someone starts the deprogramming process. Do a favor to the generations below you or the idiots above, I say.

Why are congress, the news media, lawyers and used car salesmen held is similar esteem? It may have something to do with the "Edit" to your comment.
