This was the 1 comment to a Pittsburgh news outlet article about vape shop struggles with new regulations.

"They popped up like weeds and some will have to go away in the normal run of things. Now that people finally figured out its horrible for you I would guess half will be gone in the next 2 years."

Online juice, hadn’t gone to diy yet.

I spent quite a bit early on buying vendor juices and appreciated the fact that vendors were there when I needed more juice. DIY is kind of like cooking at home instead of eating three meals a day in restaurants. You save a lot of money and learn by experience what makes a good juice. I bought lots of flavors early on, but eventually decided that all I needed was PG, VG, and Nicotine. I do mix up several bottles of flavored to keep around for when I want something different, but my typical day is 100% unflavored 50pg/50vg at 3mg/ml nic. I started off vaping 24mg juice and would probably vape less if I were still at that level.

You have to wonder how much of their portfolio is tied up in tobacco company stock.

Most of the things that are horrible for you are available in grocery stores. Many of those are the reason that America is fat and has terrible blood chemistry profiles, yet we consume high sugar and high fat products daily.

I have stated that before. They are talking about the dangers of vaping and the teen vaping epidemic. They should probably focus on obesity. Now that is an epidemic. Oreo flavor ban ;)

I didn't read through the whole article. From the little that I read, he doesn't seem to be ranting about health issues; just giving some cleaning advice and keeping himself relevant. I wish him good luck in all of his honest business endeavors.

I found it a very informed article, that didn't make claims about vaping beyond the relevant scope of home maintenance. Vaping leaves residu, very visibly so on shiny surfaces such as windows and glazed tiles. It does not build up very quickly with proper airing, but it's still something to clean up.

Does it merit a lot of special attention though? Not really if you ask me, you should be cleaning your house regularly anyway.

Please, please, no more focus upon my behavior by a benevolent government. Please, government, just fill the pot holes, protect the shores, keep the streets safe and then just sit quietly in a corner, unobtrusive and out of my life. If I see a problem that needs fixing then there is a 99% chance that either you (government) caused it or exacerbated it. There is no history showing that you can fix much of anything.

How lovely life would be if we could just-- you know-- leave things alone.

One guy I knew early on his boss was HAPPY he was vaping no more smoke breaks. He "contaminated" a few other smoker, and they were all vaping, indoors, happily at their desks. No one gave a rat's rear end.

I miss those days.

The fact that vaping is now in the middle of a swirl of special interest groups, politicians ,etc. just SUCKS.

People just need to learn to leave sh:censored: alone!

I can relate to a lot of these stories, these days I just leave them well alone. Sure I can go and educate people however:

- the people who ask, are neither vaping nor smoking. So it's more trivia ammo than anything else for them
- Because I'm not some super-dooper-looper-trooper my opinion has been often countered with "Yea, well...I HEARD IT FROM (insert source here....usually parroting) AND THEY SAY YOU'RE TOTALLY WRONG" at which point my care factor went from helpful to "Play frogger, chum"

What I know for a fact is that;

- I feel (not mentally or emotionally but physiologically) better, than when I was on the sticks
- It smells/tastes better
- My wallet is thanking me

Among others but you all know the gist.
