Hi everyone, I have been vaping since about 2011 and have enjoyed it almost every day. I currently have a kanger evod battery with a basic clearomizer. This has been my set up for the last couple of years. It worked for me. I am now looking into more expensive mods but there are waaaaaaay to many to choose from. I started this thread to see what the best sub $100 setup is, in your opinion. Any replies will be greatly appreciated!!:)

Hey if It works for you thats great, With me I was and am always looking for a better vape. started with ciggalike, than egos, than twists, than MVP2, than some Mechs, now I am currently useing the Sigelei 100, Love it. as far as toppers go ce4's did not last long than evods,Protanks1,2,3, and aerotanks, than Kayfuns, than RDA's first the trident, than the patriot, mutationX, Hobo V2 , Mutation X V2, Veritas and Plume. I think I am almost there and that was the last year and half. I thought I would never need more than 12 to 15 watts but as building better coils and Airfow from the RDA's I find myself 40-60 watts quite a bit. there are a ton of optoins out there and prices are coming down quite a bit. you will get all kinds of so and so is better but whatever works the best for you is the end answer. And dont forget there is new stuff everyday, so take you time to do a little research here and you should find somthing to fit you fine for that amount. Some good places to look that I have had the chance to order from that were cheap and fast were 101 vapes, elev8pe, eciggity. were all good.

Are you into rebuildables or coils?

The new subtank looks promising for the beginner looking to get into rebuilding. You can use their coil OR swap it out for a kayfun like deck and build on it. To boot the juice capacity is 6mL on a prebuilt set up or 4mL on rebuildable. Beats the hell out of the Atlantis' 2mL capacity. They start shipping out December 29th for preorders. I already ordered mine.

My opinion...the next step...A Vamo V6 with two 18350 batts stacked, two more batts for rotation and a charger. If you want clouds, a Plume Veil. If you want flavor, a Veritas. If you shop around that should be about 100 or slightly more. :2c:

How does the Plume Veil compare to the Tug Boat? I just purchased a Tug Boat Clone to try out the world of dripping. To date I've only done KayFun and Kayfun like tanks (Lemo) and tanks such as Protanks and Aerotanks.

I also just bought a mod capable of sub-ohming (IPV Mini)

Well the best mod I've had to date is a Cana DNA30 (~$70) that I've been using continuously since July 1, and tank (RTA) Kayfun 3.1 ES clone (~$25 from FT)

I was going to bite on the Cana DNA30 but ended up going with the IPV Mini due to size. I love my iStick so much I like small form factor.

I didn't preorder it from there, but I got it from a seller on ebay that states it's supposed to ship on 12/13/14. I also got it for $52.

Small + Sub ohm + 30 watts + nicer features then the istick = win. Bit more expensive but I wanted to get into subohming

I love my Tuggy, but it's more of a cloud chucker than anything else.
Dont get me wrong, any RDA is going to give you flavor, but if flavor is what you want there are others-the extreme of which would be a Strata.
Really, most RDA's are very similiar - just find the one that works for you

After thinking on it, the V1 Mephisto is the easiest RDA to build that I have ever had.
