I've been searching their website, but they don't mention anything. How many times can you refill the same cartride with liquid before you should use a new one? Also, they mention not to refill a different flavor on a different cartridge. I have 15 cartridges all of which are different flavors, and half the flavors don't taste that good. I would rather refill those later with good flavors instead of throwing them away.

Just FYI, all the flavors that come in the "smooth" sampler taste like crap.

Glad you're liking it! I got my volt in yesterday as well and has been a hit. Already converting 2 of my friends to it as well. I've barely smoked analogs, I think 2 and a half today was it, just not feeling it. Was usually when other people were smoking near me that the smell got to me so I lit one up but aside from that the volt has been working well. Still vapping on the same carto I originally put in which is surprising.

Good to know about the "Smooth" sampler, I didn't think it sounded very good when I looked at them and glad I didn't pick it up. I got the Ice Menthol and the "Strong Sampler" With various minty type flavors and so far the mint is my favorite. Reminds me of the Marlboro Smooth's I smoked before.

Exactly what Dc2 said. This certainly wont be your last purchase.

Start with something simple and get to know the parts, the lingo and what its all about. THEN the other options will start to make more sense once you have some knowledge and something to compare it to.

I just got here 3 months ago.. I remeber that " OMG THIS IS WAYYY TOO MUCH INFO " feeling. It'll pass soon enough.

I don't really know about cartomizers but I imagine you can pull the stuffing out and rinse it.
I'm sure you can rinse the whole thing.

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/e-cigarette-maintenance/152267-cartomizer-cleaning.html Seems some people use syringes in some manner to flush them without removing stuffing. I'd probably just hold it up to a faucet.

You can use them until they die or the filling gets burnt and you can't clean the taste out.

How long you can refill the cartomizer depends mostly on the liquid. Higher vg will gunk up the atomizer more. Also the darker the liquid the less time it will last. There are various methods out their such as boiling the cartomizers to clean them and get possibly another life or more out of them.

I'm new to this forum, but I'm not new to e cigs.

To answer the original question... I've tried a few brands, and my favorite is Kingpin. Their product selection and quality has always impressed me and their customer service is good, too. Like many companies, they have starter kits, which are perfect for beginners. They also have some pages with general information about e cigarettes that you may find helpful. This forum also has a lot of really great resources on e cigarettes, too!

Best of luck!

If you only smoke 7 cigarettes a day I would go with something like a kr808d-1 at 4.2 volts. I went with v2. Really never had a problem but I want new toys and they don't keep up. My problem was that I am a hardcore smoker of 48 yrs. For a beginner it is a great place to start. If all I had smoked was 7 cigs a day I would prob still be there. They just aren't cost effective for me.
