Ran into the whole idea of e-cigs the other day and trying to figure it all out.

From what I've read the Janta v2 looks kind of appealing to me. I am smoking 5 middleton cigars a day and plan on getting off those to vaping instead.

good vapor, flavor, and throat hit is a must. fruity flavors (who knew) could be interesting.

Most of my smoking is done in front of the desk top and in the car so I know I'll need a car adapter hookup, and usb hookup for my comp

Heres what I dont know. atomizers get 2-3 different ones? what types? to get a general range vapor output. cartridges what kinds fit in this and where to get them (would like to try a variety of flavors) I dont necessarily want to "drip and drive" every 10 hits. and last but not least kind of like to limit my purchase to 1-2 businesses and to keep it under $150 to start.

Thanks for the help hope i didnt miss any crucial information

I spent 3 entire days reading through the information on this forum before deciding what to buy so I Understand the information overload :)

I cant say I know anything about the middleton cigars you use now, I had thought most cigar smokers did not inhale so wonder why throat hit would be a priority ( might hose be a ciggarillo type that ppl do inhale..hmm)

I have only used the 510, and chose it after the reviews and opinions found here as a starting point. It did alow me to stop smoking analogs from the first use after 25+ years of 1-2 packs a day.

I would suggest you try something with a manual battery as the auto batteries may not work out great for you while driving, especially if you drive with an open window. ( a lot of auto batteries are sensitive it seems) Having to press a button was 2nd nature after a day or 2 for me here.

Other than that, I am guessing a super mini might not provide the ammount of vapor you would like.

For the 150 you mentioned you could get 3 starter kits of different types however. It really is up to you which way to go.

Depending on how successfull you feel vaping may be for you, you might opt to get something like a 510 or 901 or the janty you mentioned, try it, and make more purchases after that, or try several styles right off the bat as starter kits for most are under 50 dollars.

Good luck!

I assume you're asking about the Janty Stick not the Janta and I will answer based on that assumption.

I own two Janty Stick V2s and they are a good unit. I believe they come with an 801 atty and the cart on this atty holds a lot of juice. You can purchase blank carts (no liquid in them) to fill yourself. I would recommend at least two or three extra atomizers and a couple of spare batteries.

Mine gives great throat hit and flavor......good vapor too. I ordered from Janty USA and was happy with the shipping time.

Janty's juice is good but rather pricey to me. I usually purchase liquid elsewhere.

Check out the warranty on the atomizers on Janty's webpage. I always buy the cheaper atty (Taiwa?) that has no warranty....I don't want the hassle of sending them back to be replaced.

The last time I looked, the JS V2 came with a USB passthrough/charger. The passthrough charges the battery in the JS while you're using it.

Get an M401 and a USB Passthrough for vaping in front of your computer.

Get Manual Switch Batteries for vaping in your car plus a car charger.

Use the auto batteries when you need hassle free vaping without the need to press a button.

Get some extra atomisers, blank carts and liquid and you are set. This will be all you need for some time. You can check out www.absolutelyecigs.com for these items.

1 x M401 starter kit
2 x Manual batts
1 x USB Passthrough
1 x Car charger
10 x Atomisers (Bulk Promotion section)
10 x blank carts
1 x Liquid sample pack

Dave,

I just read your blog article and was fascinated by your contrast between the effects of dense vapor vs. thin vapor. I've never seen that before ... or thought about it.

Also by your comments about the effects on the stomach. I've never seen that before either.

If I had it to do over again, I would have "stolen";) these concepts from you (providing you credit, of course) for inclusion in my WWV Illustrated Guide. <-- From my egocentric point of view, that's a compliment.:D

I have to say my experience (it didn't include any physical problems) was exactly the opposite. The 4081 was a puffer.... tops. The cutoff stopped a good build up of vapor and I found little difference in the thinness or thickness of the vapor, only that the 510 had multiple times more in volume than the 4081 and it was a heck of a lot easier to inhale in much the way you do a cigarette. That said, the Janty Stick has an even easier draw than the 510 and produced a bit more vapor until I got the newest nicostick by cybervex - where I can get 25+ thick smoke rings consistently on each draw.

I know there are people where the 4081 is just perfect for them but they likely weren't heavy smokers or they have the patience of Job to figure out how to get the best of what is there, something not needed for most 510 manual users.

But it's good to have all viewpoints out there so good on you for telling your experience with the blog, just stating mine here.
