I assume after doing some research of the side effects of nicotine that loss of vision and getting tired is normal? I wouldn't assume this is due to me smoking a 100% VG juice? I ordered VG to see if I could handle VG better and overall it seems to be working just fine, although at 18 mg nicotine if I take one to many puffs it like my body wants to just automatically wants me to close my eyes and Konk out. "meaning pass out". Also my vision seems to get worse going along with my tiredness, I assume this is because my nicotine level is too high? I am at 18 mg, but I think I am going to try like a 6, because this seems ways to strong for me.

Now on another note: I am interested in buying either some VG or PG from walmart, the Humco brand that somebody suggested, they said alot of you guys here at the forum use this stuff? I don't know how good it is, I will leave that review up to you. What I was going to do instead of completely losing out on these juices is add just some unflavored PG or VG to thin down the nicotine..(Not thin down the juice, although it doesn't really matter to me).

What are your suggestions?? I know that I will lose flavor as I have heard this from a few different places. How would I do the mixing??? 100% VG is so thick, seems like I have a hard time just shaking what is already in the bottle moreless mixing some fresh stuff up...

Any opinions are welcome! :vapor:

James, please tell me what you were smoking before you started vaping, I will determine your nic level as best I can. Your symptoms do not sound good, we need to fix this ASAP

The humco is fine, I used it. You may add a few drops of DISTILLED WATER to your mix to thin it out if you dn't want to use PG

you can also get verified for the classies and sell teh juice, or try to swap it in the PIF swap topics here:

Ok, so I just receive these juices today in the mail from Baker Vapor, they are 100% VG, I first started out be filling my tank about halfway full with Thug Juice. I smoked on it a few hits, and instantly I felt like I just wanted to close my eyes, and go to sleep. I keep smoking on it and well I think it is just like taking sleeping medicine basically. My vision seems to get worse like i am sleepy and cannot focus. I then got tired of just that flavor, so I fill the other half of my tank with Demon Energy to mix the flavors up, and it still seems to be doing the same thing..hmm. I did also realize that I sneezed a little bit and kept blowing my nose and had a little bit of a headache which I think this is from too much nicotine. Although give me your opinions. Thanks

None of your symptoms are typical of vaping, quitting smoking, or nicotine overdose, except maybe the headache. We are not doctors, and we cannot dispense medical advice, which is probably what you need right now. The only good advice I can give is to drink lots and lots of water.

Thanks for your advice. Although It doesn't seem to be too bad I guess I will keep on chucking. I am going to thin my nicotine down with something and try that. I know you said you didn't think it was from nicotine but I have to try something. So I think I am going to buy some PG, Humco brand and and mix it like a 70/30 VG/PG mix, and maybe its just too much VG? I don't know.

That sounds like an allergic reaction to me.

Although if you check this link :Nicotine Side Effects in Detail - Drugs.com

And this is not the only link...^ that I have found on the web saying vision disturbances.. So just thought I would throw that out there. Thanks for the help. If you do look at the link, it is under nicotine overdosing.

Well James it doesn't sound good. It is starting to sound like allergic reaction.

No, those are not common symptoms of nicotine use. Nicotine is a stimulant, so it should not be making you sleepy at all. If you were getting too much nicotine, you would feel symptoms of overdose, which start with dizziness and nausea.

Well that makes sense, except that those were my symptoms when I started vaping, extremely tired. I talked it over in a PM with a veteran, we determined that as a newbie everyone told me to vape 18mg when I should have been around 12mg. or less. I did that and the extreme tiredness went away.

But no, I did not have other symptoms.

I'm still curious about what James smoked, and how much, before he started vaping. That would still help determine what his nic level should be, even if he decides to vape UNFLAVORED ejuice.

yes it is a tired feeling pretty much just like you are describing seemingly. Almost like if I smoke too much, which doesn't take much my vision get weak and I want to lay down and just close my eyes because I feel tired. So yeah I am almost certain in my head now that nicotine has something to do with it. Although you never know!

By the way I smoked, AT Most, a pack a day, and most of the time a little under a pack a day but well over a half a pack.

A pack somedays and most of the time I am around 3-4 short of a pack a day. But I can smoke 1 pack a day at most. So we can just call it 1 pack I guess, to make it sound easier to figure out.

Brand? Strength?

A pack of regular strength Marlboros would put you at about 16mg. nic

IF lights, ultra lights then way less probably 12 mg and 6mg for ultra lights

I almost think I have it nailed on the head. Now when I getup after I keep smoking it my heart is beating and i can feel it beating in my chest. No worrys I am fine, I am testing myself, but yes I do believe it is nicotine now about 80% sure I would imagine. I guess I can try premixing and just lose a little flavor, still better than smoking ciggerettes!

marlboro special blend lights

oy ve. Those only have about 0.5mg nic, 17 cigs a day would put you at only 9mg-10mg of nicotine!

This is why I never tell new vapers to get high nic, it is based on their previous smoking habits.

YOu are vaping at about double nic you should be!

YOu might be able to do 12mg. I would try that. Chain vaping, I'd go lower to 9mg
