That was / is a funny post. Those Long Island Iced Teas are dangerous. 1 tastes like 2, 2 tastes like 3, and the band played on... Obviously, Mr. Noggin is much younger than I to be an active participant in that game.
Oh yeah..You and I are probably closer in age..and I agree. You have to limit yourself or else with those things, you won't even know you're messed up until you have to make a trip to the stand ups! My Mom wanted to take me out and get me the best cheeseburger and fries available anywhere for my birthday. They are also known for their killer Long Islands. Ever the fan of multitasking I planned ahead with a cab. I was born in 1973 and totally not going to try my hand at math right now. NURSE!
Way back then, some 13 years prior, I would have went toe to toe with our friend Noggin and the Long Island Iced Teas. I would have lost, but also would have had a great time in the process of losing. So for now Mr. Noggin, the best I can offer is that old saying of, time heals all wounds... and, run a garden hose to your favorite man chair.

Zak's Dad..I was a bartender part time on one of my second jobs in my late twenties. I know exactly what's in those things.
Mr. Noggin, the only thing that's going to cure your swollen head is beer and tomato juice. Or v8 whatever one you prefer. Half & half..down the hatch!

1 jigger house tequlia
1 jigger house vodka
1 jigger house gin
1 jigger house rum
1 jigger triple sec
Pour into tea picture filled with ice
Top with house sour mix ( usually half and half whiskey sour and orange juice)
Color with Coke

I used to be a cocktail waitress (and occasional bartender), so yeah, I've heard them all and know how to make all the drinks, too. That was a fun time of life, but I sure wouldn't have the energy for it now!
No way..me either. Bartender was terrible on Friday and Saturday where I worked. Some pretty famous bands played there on occasion.

Previous years there was full voting and the results were posted as a sticky to best flavors. I hope someone does that, being so far away freight is a ..... so it's hard to order what you don't know. Thanks guys!
