I have worked on the assumption that the China liquids, having come all the way from China, do not really need to steep. So far (I have not been at this too long) all my juices have been from China and they seem fine right from my mailbox.

But I am wondering how quickly the TopVapor USA liquids go from being made to my mailbox and if that time is short enough that steeping would be recommended.

Any opinions on this?

I find it varies. Even though I've only ordered about 10 or so flavors so far. The best thing to do with any liquid is to try them when you get them (after a good shake) and if your sense of smell is up to par, give it a good sniff. If it's decent, vape it. If not, give them a couple of weeks.

Just as examples:
In my first order I chose Chocolate Fudge Bavarian Cream and Fried Apple. Both from that order were ready to go out of the box. The Fried Apple had the high tone of biting into a fresh apple slice with the warmth of cinnamon. Over the past few weeks, the cinnamon is much more prominent now.

From my second and third orders, only the coffee was ready to go. The others (Melon Explosion, Cotton Candy, Green Apple, Candy Cane, Very Berry, CheeseCake, 2nd order of CF Bavarian Cream) needed anywhere from a few days, to 2-3 weeks. Melon Explosion was good from the beginning but was watermelon heavy, it's more fresh cantaloupe-like blended now.

Cheesecake I'm finding to be the most stubborn, it had a milk like smell to me at first, it's making progress, but not quite ready yet. Might need a month or longer to mature methinks. Very Berry had various levels of pleasantry. At first freshly berry like, in the middle of aging, meh (probably due to my taste buds going wacky at various times), & after the full couple of weeks, very nicely melded. So much so I had to keep my hand glued to my PV or my bf would try to grab it.

But this is just my opinion and how timing works for me right now.

I am going to agree with the last poster on this. The liquids vary on wether or not they need to steep a while. I bought one bottle of their coffee flavor that was perfect the minute I got it, while the second botle I ordered (mind you was lower in nic and a much larger size) took about 10 days. I have tried a lot of the flavors that appeal to me and all of them were just right after 10 days and still getting better tasting the longer they steep. The ones that were really good on arrival got even better. And the few flavors that I had not liked were the ones that really were not my taste and were actually ordered as a request from a friend of mine.

I don't order a lot from MadVapes mostly box mod parts, cartomizers, etc. but like to get some liquid when I do. Haven't had a problem in the past but the last 3 bottles I got about a week ago tasted and smelled perfumey. I'm hoping it improves with a little more time.

Wanted to follow up and say that after 2-1/2 weeks of steeping these 3 bottles are now good to go. :)
