I ran into the perfume taste problem my last order. Liquid was dark compared to other. It was a high nic so I used it in a mix and I had to keep it down TO A VERY LITTLE. Still not as good as original but tolerable.
Heard they'd hired some new people and they were in training. :(
I had a gift certificate through them so I ordered one more time---need to get into DIY a little more anyway.

Done, i have a shipment coming in from Bluemist tomorrow. If their tobacco flavors taste like chanel number 5 ill post it up on here as well.

Hope you enjoy BlueMist

I do.... but then I am a menthol smoker... luck to you

( I should add, the Robacco menthol was ok when I first got it, but after letting it steep for a week, then I really loved it, hard to compare as it was my very first vape... I have tired quite a few others now, from other companies as well, still like the Robacco menthol the best )

I realize that there is nothing out there that will imitate the taste of a ciggy and I never even tried to look for a match. I have found out that I do like a good tobacco eliquid. I have found a couple RY4's that I really like but for all around really good tobacco flavors Vaperite is hard to beat. The flavors that I have tried from them have been mellow and clean tasting without a strong aftertaste. They have an organic tobacco that is very good. Their liquids were smooth on the throat (not scratchyat all). I know everybodies tastes are different and their perceptions will be different but the flavors that I tasted in those Freedomsmokeusa liquids were unnatural and acrid. I posted here after reading that someone else had a similar experience with the same supplier... just trying to find a common thread that's all.

If that's the case, then there's little point in good reviews, either.

Exactly. Sorry, PoliticallyIncorrect, but gonna have to disagree with you 100%. There are tons of juice vendors out there and not criticizing them when they ship a crappy product (even if it is only in the opinion of the OP) helps nobody.

Not a problem, jfoobar. I was just pointing out that crappy—as it applies to taste—has meaning only to the tastebuds of the beholder. If a criticism has to do with getting an order wrong, or using non-pharmaceutical grade PG, or failing to ship in a timely manner, or any sort of objective malfeasance, that's information of use to another. That a particular juice isn't to the liking of a particular person isn't, unless you somehow know your flavor-perception wiring to be identical to that of the critic.

I don't like lima beans. I never have, never will. Point? There is no point.

Realcig and Maxboro sampler sizes have been tossed out. If i wanted to vape grandmas perfume i would go do so. Not just a little bit of perfume scent/taste, A LOT and totally unvapable. Ive let them sit a week and only seemed to get worse.

FSUSA has nice customer service and quick shipping but their tobacco juices have been pretty terrible from what ive vaped.

I have been seeing a lot of FreedomsmokesUSA juices on the classifieds lately. I have never tried them, but hearing that they get worse when steeped and seeing a lot of people selling them, I think I will stay away.

I have had many e juices that I personally did not like, but I did not think that their taste was so out of the ordinary that I had to email them to find out if there was a problem with the batch. There was definitely an off taste to these juices it was more than just a matter of taste. And I believe everybody has a right to voice their opinon about anything they want to.

I also tried Alien Vision after reading good reviews and seeing their product posted on "rate my juice" or whatever the site was called. I got my juice and it is unvapable. I am going to order with my original juice vendor and continue to stick with them. I am very dissapointed in the juice i got from A.V. I wish vendors would send you samples of their other juices when you order a normal ml size bottle from them. It would help their rep for sure.

But again, that same logic applies both ways. If a negative review of the taste of a juice has no point, neither does a positive review. Would you have us get rid of the e-liquid reviews subforum?

I agree that a single review is somewhat suspect, but the big advantage of this or any other thread like this is to allow others to come in and agree or disagree. The cumulative weight of agreement (or lack thereof) helps us all make somewhat more informed purchases. It doesn't always work but it often does.

Of course not. I'm not defending any particular e-liquid supplier, or singling out negative reviews in particular. I'm just observing the obvious.

That may be true—or not. I doubt anyone has ever squandered the time to run any numbers on that. One thing I'm confident of is that running 3ml samples by your own physiological equipment works virtually every time.

That's a contradiction. Either posting reviews of juices is useful or it isn't.

That may be true—or not.

It's absolutely true. I, and I am quite certain many others, have used reviews here and elsewhere to make more informed purchase decisions. Do a plethora of positive reviews for a particular juice (for example) ensure that will find vaping it enjoyable? No, but it increases the odds.

One thing I'm confident of is that running 3ml samples by your own physiological equipment works virtually every time.

Obviously true and not up for debate, but how would you suggest that I and others choose which of the thousands of different juices available to purchase then?

There is a point to both positive and negative reviews. Vendors should embrace both.

For instance, I got a bunch of FSUSA samples. One was their Vanilla Tahiti. I loved it. Absolutely loved it. So I ordered a large bottle. Couldn't wait to get it. I did, and it tasted completely different - similar to cream soda which I don't care for. I've let it steep and steep. Nothing - still cream soda.

Where is that delicious flavor I had in the sample? I know the sample had probably been sitting around steeping, but damn ... how long do I have to wait to use it before it tastes right? It's very impractical.

Vaperite allows you to order a free sample when you order a regular sized juice from them. You get to pick nic, pg/vg mix and the flavor.

Please don't let that put you off from trying them! I have a lot of FSUSA sample sizes I plan on putting in the classifieds, but that's only because I've found my favorites and ordered larger sizes. The classifieds are a great way of trying lots of flavors without having to spend as much!

i found the FSUSA flavors kind of indifferent. i like the cocoa chaos and plain cocoa but all the lime lemon citrus spectrum were blah. the menthol is just a little too ultra pure but it works as a base agent for other flavors.

the perfumey complaint about FSUSA and flavourart has popped up on a number of threads. Taste is subjective but human subjectivities tend to run in clusters. it's not unreasonable to look for reviews by people who have liked something you like and then try something else they like. ups the odds. While i don't think anyone has done a study on it re: vape flavoring agents I'm sure there is plenty of hard research in the food additives business... and of course the whole point of the forum is to bring a lot of independent judgments to bear on a complex subject and the taste of the juice is surely as relevant as a lot of the other things we roam around her looking for tips on.

I can relate to this. It has happened to me a couple times. 3ml bottle excellent, next bottle not the same
