it's actually kinda oily right now, don't know if that's a quit-smoking thing or a vaping thing (i suspect the first). you'll be happy to know i paid for it by having horrific acne the first half of my 20's.

We'll be taking a doggeh into our home after the move to Germany, don't want to put a dog throug international travel. As it is I'm feeling sorry for Pablo. I'd like to get a Pitbull mix (I love them) but it's really about the personality of the dog more then the breed, and Since I'll be rescuing him/her from a shelter it's a wild card on who I'll end up deciding is the best fit for our family.

yup... when i worked with rescue i always told people who came to adoption fairs to remember that the dogs choose them, not the other way 'round.

my cat lola i rescued from a shelter...im a dog guy but something said "I need a family" so i made the exception for her....the best thing i ever did because i did it for her but she helped me and my wife and daughter alot...

Actually these 3 varmits are to be released to the wild soon. I will miss them, but squirrels will never be pets. they are wild animals and I have to be careful to remember that. These 3 were very young when we found them and they had no mother to care for them. My wife has some experience with caring for young varmits so we took them in. It has been an experience I won't forget. I'm an old softy, doncha know? Haven't decided if we will take them out to the forest or release them to our back yard yet.....but away from the city will probably be best.

I am so glad to see so many animal lovers around here. I am a certified pet care technician and dog trainer by trade. Even now I am at work taking care of about 20 dogs. I worked at an animal shelter for about a year, and I can tell you that was probably the most fulfilling and hardest job I have ever done. I am so glad allot of you are taking in the unwanted, there are so many. All my pets 3 dogs, and 6 cats are all unwanted pets. I would not give them up for anything. It nice to see you all have switched your smoke into vapor, its so much better for them.
I far prefer being me for my avatar, but I have 1 chihuahua (rescue), 1 yorkie, 1 bengal cat, 1 all black cat (rescue) and 1 10 year old boy. I love 'em all, can't imaging life without. the chihuahua is getting up there in age.. and the bengal is something like 12 or 13 or something. I'll be truly sad when I have to put one down, or loose one.
I have 2 rescue doggies, 2 rescue cats, 1 other kitty, 4 rescue sugar gliders, 8 other sugar gliders. I love my fuzz butts.
I have two dogs and a cat... all are rescues. I really want another cat! Sir Lance-a-lot needs a friend...lol

I had to put my rescued dog to sleep the day after Thanksgiving. I'm not sure I have the strength to say goodbye again, so for now I am pet-less! Kudos to all of you who have more than enough love to go around.
