Hey all. I was wondering if anyone with experience ordering from China could shed some light on this. I ordered some stuff from 3FVape about a week and half ago. I've been tracking the shipment through the site 17track. It seems like the shipment is out of China and in the States now. The latest info says "United States outbound manifest created," and United States shipment shipped." I'm just wondering if I can expect to get continued detailed tracking info through 17track or if I'll be able to pick up the tracking on the USPS site at some point? Does 3FVape typically email an updated tracking number for transport via the destination carrier or will the original tracking number also be used by USPS? It isn't showing up in their system yet. I'm clueless here. I just want to make sure I'm home when the stuff arrives. Thanks.

I don't know about that company in particular but when I order from fasttech I'll get a notification or two while it's still in China and then it takes a bit (a week or more?) for me to get a notification that it's been received in the US. Slow boat from China, ya know? Don't order anything from China that you need in your hand asap. I'm still waiting on a package of organic cotton pads from Japan and it's been weeks and weeks since I ordered it.

shipments from china can be weird... it can be a couple of days to months to arrive, and once it arrives ( in the US) it can be diverted to customs for a hold over of 3-30 days for inspection...
the quickest Ive gotten stuff from Fasttech is 9 days, the longest was 5 weeks... so, if you are in a hurry to get your stuff, buy local :)

One habit (or non-habit) I've developed with shipments from China is to NOT check tracking for at least a week. It's tough for me, because I order online all the time and I am an obsessive tracker, lol.

And don't sweat it, odds are you WILL get your package. It may be a slow boat, but it does arrive!

Thanks for the info everyone.
I knew this wouldn't be a speedy process, especially ordering a few days before the New Year.
I heard enough good things about 3F to feel confident ordering from them.
It's just a back up device so there's really no rush.
It does appear to be in the States now, so I'll continue to check USPS periodically.

@K_Tech I also made it a point not to haunt the tracking page. Not easy for me either. :)

I don't even care anymore I placed an order with Fasttech on Oct 7.2016 still waiting. lol. It's at the point now were Fasttech is giving me the run around, the order was 100 US dollars, Now im just fighting to get a refund.I was kindly told to wait 60 days to determine if the package was lost.
So that to me says were not gonna do anything but wait another 2 months to see if it gets delivered.

NEVER EVER ORDERING FROM CHINA AGAIN . Ill stay within my canadian border for now.

Which meter did you buy? Have you tried it with different atomizers? Could be the pin on the one you are using isn't connecting properly.

And @DarrellG, take it from me, the more you track something the longer it seems to take to get to you. I have an Aromamizer in the states that went the wrong direction and now is showing in transit and delayed. From CT to NJ is usually a 2 day point via USPS...it's been 11 days

Commercial Electric meter. Did use in different atties, same thing no reading. Pins work when reading volts.

Sorry to hear all of that. That's terrible, man. :(
I hope you get your refund in the end, or better still, the damn thing somehow materializes...
I just decided to roll the dice and hopw for the best when I decided to place the order. I figured if anything went wrong it would be like banging my head against a wall trying to converse with anyone over there. I remember trying to get some product info from joyetech once, didn't go to well...

@mongo74 Are you waiting on the RDTA version? That's a pretty sweet atty.

I wound up checking the tracking through SFExpress (the initial carrier) and they have more detailed info on the package route than 17Track (the tracking link 3F sent me). According to SFE the package made it to L.A. yesterday and is now headed my way - one hopes. It seems like when SFE says "Shipment in transit at..." they actually mean "Shipment in transit to..." They had me thinking it was out for delivery in my city for a sec...heh
USPS still has no tracking data available. Slackers.
