lol well he is a nice guy. He got a good deal on his end too..

Norman,
Yes it is ceramic with a drain hole so It is a Rm2 :)

This device is amazing. I honestly do not know why I had not ordered one yet. I had intentions to for my next mod purchase but I could not pass up one face to face with it.

I actually plan on ordering another now. A wrinkle black one. Also just read about a subohm kit that may be released sometime next year..
Can not wait for that.

Quick question.

Can different color doors be ordered? I would like to get a red door and a black one, but they are not listed on the reosmod.com website

Quick question.. I have been looking at others grands on the forums and the youtube videos. It seems that mine has 2 magnets on the door and 2 magnets on the body versus the 1 to 1 I have seen on others. I am guessing mine may be an older version of the grand. Were there any other significant changes besides the number of magnets in these?

There have been almost NO changes in the REO Grand between the first ones and the ones he's making now. The only thing that I know of is that the two back edges are a tiny bit more rounded off....the older REOs were a little bit more squared off. I have one of each (older/newer) and they both have two magnets. The REO Mini only has one magnet.....and other than size they would look alike in pictures. There is a delrin button cover that Rob sells these days ($4) that slips on the button...but it's not necessary. It would make them look different in pictures so I'm mentioning it. Other than those minor changes, a REO Grand is a REO Grand is a REO Grand. The older ones are just as good, and just the same as the brand new ones.

Enjoy, enjoy, enjoy!

The Grands have two magnets on the door and two on the body. My earliest Grand from 2011 also. Always four total.

You might be seeing the Mini that has one magnet in the door and one on the body.

Older versions of the Grand do not have the back corners rounded. Their "footprint" is the same front and back.

The first few runs of Grands did have a different screw to hold the spring. A hex screw was used until 2011. See photo above for hex screw in the bottom.

Grands and Mini's use to have tubing with a smaller outside diameter. This changed in the later part of 2011.

The first Grands were made with a firing contact that was a "V" with the point being more rounded.

Newer Grands the firing contact point is more a "V" with a bent tip.
