I vape because I need to. After 35 years of smoking and smoking 2 packs a day vaping is an absolute need. Yes, you trade one habit for another, but it's healthier. Yes, I still want to smoke, and I do, when I'm stressed. But I hope this in time will pass. Thing is, if you want to vape 0mg go ahead. I prefer to be addicted to vaping and not to alcohol.

Susaz,
You hit the nail right on the head. I smoked almost my entire life over 50 years. You need to admit that you are an addict of some sort or another. Can some quit, sure but it is very hard for others who have smoked for so long. I pray they find that vaping is not a health hazzard and that the "anti smoking" zelots will leave us alone.

Best Wishes

Vaping is still stimulating the same parts of your brain with the same actions and chemical. And I know addiction pretty well. There aint no way that anyone is gonna stop vaping regularly and keep it to the weekends. At least not in 85% of us. Addiction doesn't work that way. You start vaping on the weekends after a month, 5 months, a year of nothing... You'll be vaping every day again within a month. And if you quit vaping and your off of nicotine and you give your stuff away or the batteries die (like mine have.. twice) your smoking again.

I've read a number of your posts and it seems to me you often treat your experiences as the norm.
But from what I can see your experiences often seem to be more of an exception.

Regardless, one thing I've learned here is that everyone is different.
One size does not fit all when it comes to why we smoked, or what it takes to quit.

I concur with DC2. Your summary doesn't fit me..... I've quit vaping a few months, and yes, while I did resume my 'vaping' addiction, there's no way I'd EVER EVER EVER smoke again. After five years of not smoking I can honestly say I know (for a fact!) I will NEVER smoke again. Period. Amen DC2; "One Size does not fit all" :vapor:

I really do not worry too much about it. I love vaping. Every vape is enjoyable (if the juice is good). I easily vape more than I smoked. My real life hobby is backpacking and hiking. My performance has improved greatly. So, I traded one really bad habit for one that is basically harmless (from what we know so far). It surely can save me money, but at this point, where I try everything I can get my hands on it is quite the wallet syphon.
Still I'm glad I vape.
