Hi guys,

I am pretty new to vaping and need some advice!

The first device I purchased was a Vapo Haiz pod which had a cartridge system – i found the cartridge's ran out really quickly + I hated not knowing when that yucky taste would hit! However I liked the draw – it felt a lot like a cigarette (im trying to quit!)

So then yesterday after reading some good reviews I purchased a Cascade One vaporizer – its REALLY good but not exactly what I was after.

After doing more research it seems a MTL device is more to my taste, while the Cascade One is DTL (clouds are too big! I mean the clouds are fun but id feel pretty stupid smoking this at my local pub – after something a little more discreet)

tldr;

How can I alter my Cascade One to perform more like a MTL device? Do I need to get a new mouthpiece? Coil? Can you make any recommendations?

If it can’t be done im not opposed to purchasing a different MTL device but would rather not to save some money!

Thanks :)

If there is no airflow adjustment, or MTL coil option for the topper, and the unit is 510 threaded, you could get a tank more to your taste.

Hey there, there is airflow adjustment which is a plus. It is 510 compatible but not sure if theres an MTL coil option - i hope so! Thanks for your response

Welcome to ECF.
Personally I think you might be happier just getting a new tank. The Innokin Zenith would likely suit you. It has good af options from tight mtl to a restricted dl. Also has good coils to choose from, I would suggest trying the 1.6 and 0.8. The tank will work with your device.

Thanks! Just gave that a google and looks pretty good - not too expensive either. Appreciate it! Im going to take mine to a vape store tonight to get some advice and will see what happens

    I would agree with what @Letitia said. I have a Zenith, would suit you by the sounds of it:thumbs:

    Welcome to the friendly bunch :)

    I agree with the others as your tank is specifically designed as DTL so even if you close down the AFC (air flow control) it will still not vape like an MTL tank...sometimes there maybe an alternative coil which fits the same tank which will make it a tighter draw but unlikely in this case....may be worth asking though :)

    Good luck.

    Thanks everyone for your advice! I went to the store last night and the guy was concerned because my Cascade only has one wattage setting it might burn through the Zenith coils really quickly. He suggested starting from scratch (only for an extra $10) so I went with the Geek Vape Frenzy and REALLY happy with it! Super smooth, different wattage settings and tastes good. So im happy :thumb: Maybe one day i'll get a Zenith kit and do it properly!!!
