I get what your saying but the batts for sure need to be carried on. My worry is I have to take so much Xanax to fly that if they start hassling with me, I can't be responsible for what I say or my actions. LOLOLOL

Worst case they ask to look at them and then let you go. One time the 10 batteries and then all my computer cables line up on the x-ray to look a little strange.

The first time in over 30 flights that I got so much as a question about my vape gear was on my last flight out of Vancouver. Even then, all they cared about was whether or not it made a flame, which would be a no-no on a plane. Bear in mind that half of those flights were out of Canadian airports and vaping is not entirely legal here - nic juice, in particular, is subject to seizure. All they care about is the danger factor.

Follow the good advice you've received in here and you will be fine, whether questioned or not. What you're doing is allowed, no differently than if you wanted to take 4 cell phones and some skin lotions on board.

Have a great flight. Hope you're going somewhere fun.

Last time I flew, I only took my little itaste VV3's with me to avoid any hassle. I put them in my carry-on, and put the liquids in the ziplock with my shampoo and toothpaste. The noticed the mods in my bag and asked what they were. I told them they were electronic cigarettes and I remember the guy saying
he'd "never seen one that big"! I thought is was a good thing I didn't bring the heavy firepower!

Your lucky it wasn't the iTaste 134. They would have thought it was a pipe bomb.

Thanks guys for the tips. I'm still torn whether to pack the REOs in the suit case or bring them on board with me. Right now they are tucked away, wrapped up in the suit case. I've only taken them out about 4 times and back in  I know they will fine and safe, I'm only worried about theft.

If someone steals my REOs, I will go ape crazy. LOLOLOL I just feel like the TSA won't recognize them as vaporizers. Heck, half the vape shops I go to have no clue what they are. I mean, they get box mods but....

At the worst, they'll see them on the xray of your bag and ask you to take them out. Maybe you could print off a screen shot of the Reo website and tuck it with them just in case you need to explain what it is?

Wow..you read my mind. I have the instruction sheet from Rob I'm taking with. And they are going back in my carry on. LOL fifth move for these two!

For those who don't know there is this forum on ECF. => Travel and E-Cig

Never put anything in checked baggage that you can't afford to have go missing. Like that never happens...

Also, the TSA is only half of your potential problem - the easy part. You didn't say where you are wandering off to, but if you are crossing borders you need to check what the e-cig policies are for the country you are entering. Mexico customs has been known to be rather hinky, some times confiscating e-cig stuff from people entering via air port travel. (Musta missed the subtle hint about paying for a favor...) If e-cig stuff is flat out banned only bring cheap stuff you can afford to lose and plan on where to buy stuff at your destination ahead of time.

Ang, I don't know what kind of tank that is. But if it's gonna be filled the orientation of clearos matters. The end where the coil is located must be upright - and for BCC clearos that means having them upside down. Basically, the coil location is where liquid can be forced out of the clearo due to cabin pressure changes. Top coil stuff like Vivi Nova - normal upright position. BCC stuff like Kanger ProTanks - upside down. In general anything filled is best carried in something that won't turn you or your baggage into a leaking mess - like a baggy or a tank in a pill bottle.

If I were me I would be taking a train instead. :D Best wishes with the actual flying part.

AngiBe I fly all the time, I have over 1.3 million actual air miles on just AA, that does not count the hundreds of flights on others. Carry-on is the way to go, I do it all the time.

Thanks! I don't know how you can fly that much. I'm a wreck and glued to the weather channel

I'd reconsider checking in ALL of your extra juice and put at least 30ml in a carry-on plastic bag just in case your luggage gets lost. That would buy you enough time to locate a vape shop in worse case scenario. Sounds like you might NEED a vape when you touch town and best to be prepared. :)

AngiBe - are you off today? You'll be fine - hope you have a marvelous trip! And I've never had a problem traveling with my Reos:D

In Florida!! TSA, as everyone said, was a breeze. The guy looking at the screen said, "I take it these are all Ecigs but 2 of them I've not quite seen like these before (REOs). And that was it! No leaks at all, not even my filled Triton tanks, just one bottle in my suit case had a slight leak.

Vaped/drank away the night and raining today :(. Same crap we flew through to get here. Thanks again for help peeps
