personally i would buy it in the states and purolate or UPS it back to yourself in Canada. I think , if i am wrong someone will correct me, if customs searches your carry on bags they will seize the juice if it has nicotine in it...or dont go too crazy on quantity and put it in your luggage and hope for the best.

Utterly stupid IMO..i can go to a drug store and buy a nicotine inhaler, gum, patches etc etc...can buy cigarettes but can't import Nicotine laced liquid for a product that is far safer then any cigarette.

Yeah I second this ... send it back to your self. Unless you are driving ... then I would just toss it in my glove box

if you're flying I'd just check it with your luggage. Most bottles come with a dropper top of some sort. Throw it in your toiletry bag and they'll think it's contact solution, or even nasal spray under an x-ray. They don't open every bag, and typically only if they see something on the x-ray that looks suspect. Now, if you're bringing back like 5L of the stuff in a bleech bottle that could be a different story ;)

If you're only doing carry-on, I'd ship it to be safe, but you probably won't need to worry about it.

Being a frequent traveler to Vegas (not at all related to your query, but I thought I would just throw that in!) I have had absolutely no problems bringing juice I purchased there back with me. If it is a sizable amount though, you would be well advised to pack it in your luggage. Even if you are bringing back a few 30 ml bottles, I'd still pack it though because as soon as you bring it through security you need to stuff it in a little quart sized baggie along with all your other liquids and gels so it all might not fit.

But to put your mind at ease, you won't (or shouldn't) have any issues at all.

You are actually for the most part correct. I had found this who is also here on ECF, digibomb who inn reading his blog needs to know this stuff. . Kingzkross i would take a snoop at this What You Need to Know When Traveling with Your E-Cig It has some great FAQ's on not only TSA but also the CATSA (Canadian Equivalent) on part in particular i would like to call to your attention:

Can I bring my e-juice with me?

You can travel with your e-juice as long as it meets the regulated amount of liquid, 100ml, in a branded bottle clearly labeled with its contents listed. Make sure it is in a clear plastic bag supplied by the airport at security check points. It should not be problem when going through security. At most, they will ask you what it is and maybe run a quick swab test to make sure it is not an illegal drug or chemical. If you need to take more juice with you I recommend putting it in your checked luggage. Just make sure you wrap it really well so it does not spill all over your clothes.

can you explain more on this? Do they open your luggage, did you need to peel any labels, how much is "some"?

Thanks in advance.

Depends :) Sometimes security will, based on random selection, shifty eyes, bad day, ... open your luggage. Unless you are trying to traffic in e-juice, anything reasonable is not going to be questioned. We may be paranoid re: nic juice and customs, but it's not "high" on their hit list :)
