I got this Element mods - Tree of Life mod produced by Infinite through a group buy.
The design itself is nothing new; nothing special, nothing to write home about.
It's just a Vela style switch with a GP/Chi-you style 510 double adjustable pin.
The top cap and lock ring are really the only thing that sets it apart in aesthetics.
I got it just because I really liked those aesthetics.

I already have 3 Vela clones and I don't even like them all that much
- mainly because of the lack of adjustment in 510, the wobble in the switch, and the lock ring that's hard to grip...

At least the Tree of Life tried to remedy those issues to an extent.
The double adjustable 510 pin set up is obviously better than the Vela 3 various length pins.
The lock ring is thicker and has those rectangular cuts in it
- it's still the same diameter as the switch button, but it is easier to operate than the Vela.
The top cap on the Tree of Life also has airflow slots/groove cuts - which again improves on the Vela.
The switch is still wobbly...no improvement there.
I can't say this is 100% true for the Original Tree of Life mod, but I think it is after watching VapeStars video review.

I paid $45 (shipped) for this and it came with all 3 tubes. The quality is excellent.
These were just released and you'll probably start seeing some retailers carrying them.
Actually, Element mods just posted on their FB that the clone is here with a link to an ebay seller.

Not much else I can think of to say. So I'll just post some pics - a lot of them - who doesn't like pics??
Sorry if some of the pics are big at the time of this post - Photobucket is a little slow to refresh.

Although just another tube mod clone - it is reasonably attractive with small, inoffensive (to my tastes at least) logos, good looking contacts and seemingly fairly well machined... at least for $45 shipped, fairly well machined - so an OK deal.

If you'd like a copper/brass Heimdall clone for a similar price, PM me, I can point you.

Nice 4th!

This isn't my favorite mod for aesthetics as you say, however it looks glorious in hybrid mode with the castle. That combo looks badass for sure! Thanks for sharing and adding so much to the community.

It's not my Favorite for aesthetics either, but I think it offers more than the vela or paps.
I really love the looks of the top cap - sad that it gets covered up by the atty. Maybe I should run an Igo-F or something smaller on it.
The wobble switch is the only thing that erks me. Reminds me of my Ehpro vela.

We are starting to think alike. You and I may be the only 2 who care about wobble switch:) I can ignore but I do appreciate a tight switch like ray.

I think I'm the only holding an IGO-F licence, lol:)

Nice pics.

I got mine in yesterday. You have the hit the button from the center. If you hit the far side the button tilts and doesn't fire. It's not a big deal since it always fires when your finger is touching the center of it. Mod will fire if you stand it up without locking first. A stronger spring or magnets should fix the tilting switch issue.

I'm happy with mine. The button press is super short, and 3/4 twist to lock / unlock. The switch hasn't come loose at all-- my older mechs button would loosen throughout the day. I like the 510 connection. No battery rattle and I can flush mount all my attys. the only thing that worries me is the top pin over time. I had a kayfun that got its 510 connection stripped over time. I'm hesitant to make the connection too long for fear of stripping the threads when I screw it in. I plan to get a hybrid adapter for it so ill test that out on the hybrid since it would be easier to replace than the actual top cap.

Magnets may help with the soft throw and make it a little stiffer.
The spring is very soft. People complained about the original as well.

I think magnets for a caravela will work, but I don't have any at the moment.

The side to side wobble/deflection is caused by the loose tolerances between the switch housing and the button shaft. Can't really fix that.

Just got mine in the mail today along with a King Satin Brass Clone, I like it but don't LOVE it. The King destroys it honestly.
Though, The Tree of Life clone hits on par with my Stingray - The way the adjustment pin for the atty works in just a pain in the .... It's not tight enough on the threads. Albeit the threads are smooth as butter, its just too wobbly. I don't get any wobble from the button thought like has been stated by other members, the only wobble I get is from the battery being too small for the tube, so I have to make sure the contacts are EXTRA tight to keep the battery from wobbling.

You want Chi You magnets, just not the 2mm thickness magnets. After i got mine i sought reviews and the Infinite clone he reviewed used Chi You magnets.

This clone is spot on to the original. i looked at both in depth side by side (a girl who works at my local B&M has one) and I couldn't tell any appreciable differences except that the Infinite spring might be a smidge weaker. Or maybe not. This is a very good clone. Right now its my preferred clone.

I can't seem to figure out why mine isn't hitting that well? Compared to my Stingray and King, which hit like a freight train - this thing is more comparable to a smart car. (Sorry for the bad analogy.) I really want to love this clone, and it's not horrible in build quality by any means but It's just not producing the vapor I was hoping for. Is yours the same?

Nice review brother! You convinced me to buy both! I already have the castle clone and it's pretty amazing, a perfect backup and looks great too (my left post rotated slightly but I pressed it in hard and it stopped, been perfect ever since!). The castle and tree of life look great together! I think the Tree of Life is the nicest looking mechanical out there, that perfect amount of class and bling. As well as a beautiful and meaningful engraving (I like how the serial number doesn't ruin the outside simplicity.), my favorite part though is the "chi you style" 2 part adjustment, as someone cursed with vapers OCD, I like everything to be tight-flush, as well as my battery lightly mashed together for a good contact. Thanks again for the nice HD pics! I'm still biting my nails waiting on the TOL.

The telescopic pin is absolutely brilliant. It and spring loaded pins ought to be the standard for all mechs.
