Tried these 4 years ago, wasted lots of money. Improved? Worth trying again?

Was a member here 4 years ago, spent a couple $100 and never could get these things to work. Not sure what I bought back then, but think it was 901 or something. Well, recently I did the free Victory ecig deal for 1 cent and was amazed!

Have these things improved that much in 4 years? If they have I want to give it another try!

What I remember was the awful burn taste and they hardly ever worked, buying parts and more parts and having to wash and dry those little carto things with the fuzzy stuff. Then I always filled them to much and ruined my atomizer or not enough and ruined my atomizer.

Have things gotten better and easier or was I just lucky with that Victory deal?

It has vastly improved. I did the same thing you are.
Back then there was pretty much one resistance for attys and it was almost impossible to get a consistent vape. The batteries were horrible and the juice was all pretty "average"
Dive in again and you will be amazed at all the new things!!

I know what you are going through about 2 years ago I tryed vaping and it lasted about 15 days or so it was pretty bad but recently i took it up again and the equipment VASTLY improved and i havent even thought off a analog smoke in 32 days give it another shot buy yourself an ego and a clearomiser and your life will change for the better

I went through the same problem 4 years ago. It was quit which I couldn't put up with horrible products at that time. Well I suffered with what was available at the time and quit. After about a year I found better products to use and things have been GREAT.
The products available now are by far that much more appeasing to some one trying to quite. Welcome back and please give it another try. You are on the best source of information out there.

I started vaping in 2009, and vaping has improved a hundred fold since then. I have two different PV's. One gives me 18-24 hours on one battery charge of heavy vaping and the other gives me about 15 hours. Both models have chips in them that makes every vape exactly the same as a fresh, band new battery - the ultimate in consistency. I use a carto 5ml tank that provides 15 - 17 hours of vaping without ever having to add eliquid. These advances are a huge improvement from 4 years ago. The hassle factor and inconsistency has been mostly eleminated.

I would suggest you get a Power Regulated (VV/VW) VAMO for $40 some mega cartomizers or a tank cartomizer and see how much vaping has improved. In this price range, nothing can match the advantages of the VAMO:

When I got that 1 cent Victory E-cig and tried it and liked it! My first thought was, this can't be, but then I got a $35 charge at my bank for refills. So I called them and cancelled their auto refill, but continued vaping the refills that were sent, and they were all good!

Thats when I decided to come back here and see if things have changed.

I thought it just amazing how much things have changed! I tried the little 501 batteries with the fluff cartos in 2009. All the liquids then (that I bought anyway) were all tobacco flavors and not really nice. I never did really quit, it was so fiddly and not satisfying. This time it's a little over 3 months with 0 cigs. I started with an eGo twist, still have it and use it but now it's got other company. :)
Good luck!
Here's a link, maybe there is something by you to go check stuff out.

I started out on the Victory and was very pleased with it for the first few weeks until i started going through the refills like crazy. one would only last me 1 day then the next day the throat hit wasnt there. next thing i knew my car was littered with them. i searched online and found a fixed voltage one along with a carto tank. with the carto tank i saw how much liquid i had left and held a few days worth. im very happy with my set up and it didnt cost me an arm and a leg.
