If you don’t mind a Mech the Hammer of God v3 is a mighty fine mod. Four cells, parallel/series, I hit mine hard all day on a single set of batteries and seldom pull them below ~3.7V. There is also a modification to make the box a quad parallel should you prefer.

:D
I run mine in the normal parallel/series mode. There is a modification easily made to the baseplate to change the config to full parallel, but I prefer the parallel/series configuration as it was manufactured.

That mod looks pretty awesome! I will have to check it out. What are the downsides to a mech mod?

I have a rx2/3 and I run it with 3 batteries and it will last most of the day, but the issue I have with it is by lunch time when the batteries are at 50-60% life it will only fire at 60-70 watts. I would like something that can run 110 watts all day without changing batteries. I think it may only be possible with the 21700 batteries.

Not so much a downside of the mech as much as one major advantage of a regulated mod. With regulated, the mod will attempt to pull a consistent current from your cells to deliver the same power and adjust its current draw to the cell voltage as it drops. With a mech, we build at a target resistance, and power will gradually decrease at a rate determined by the cells voltage as it diminishes. I personally don’t notice a huge difference in vape quality dropping off as my cells discharge in a mech, but I try to not pull my cells down very far either, like not below about 3.6.

Also, some would argue regulated devices are safer as most have circuit protections so they shouldn’t overdraw their cells. I would argue that if you’re relying on your mod to keep you safe, you’re doing it wrong. If your solid on circuit theory and battery safety, you apply these safeguards into your usage of your mech device, and you don’t miss a feature that we shouldn’t be placing too much faith in anyway. I feel safer building with a substantial safety margin in my Ohms Law equation than I do relying on circuitry of unknown origin.

totally shifting gears, perhaps a salt juice device like a CB-60 would be better?? less hits needed at higher nicotine?? Battery could last all day?? I don't mind mouth to lung as long as it has flavor and doesn't kill my throat.

I got into sub ohm so i could get the nicotine i needed in a 6mg juice because 18mg is just harsh and doesn't have the flavor. I'm not necessarily chasing clouds, honestly wife hates it as do vaping friends who are still using nautilus tanks

They can be pretty significant, depending on what features the mod has.

Can you get ,say,10mg?
