I bought an unbranded 950mAh IMR 14650 from Crystal Clear vaping recently based off all the various discussion about how much better IMRs are for various reasons. I also bought some Trustfire 1300mAh's from madvapes around the same time.

The Trustfires are working great. I'm having issues with the IMR performance in my e-power. The e-power switch gives me up to a 6-second vape when I hold the button down (I know people have said it should be longer, but I have 3 switches now and they all do the same; this isn't a problem, the vape from 6 seconds is massive). With the IMR, when I hold the button down for the full 6 seconds I get a nice vape, but then I can't vape again. When I hit the button the white LED turns on solid for a few seconds (haven't timed it, I'm guessing about 5 seconds) and no vapor is produced. I have to unscrew the battery tube and rescrew it back on before I can vape again. If I do a 3 to 4 second vape with the IMR its fine. I'm guessing it has something to do with too much current draw and the autoprotect kicking in? For reference I use the 1.7ohm Resurrectors, same ones that came with the e-power, and I also use 1.7ohm XL Resurrectors, the ones that hold 2.5ml of liquid.

Actually I just did a timed test vape with the IMR. It actually cuts off at 4 seconds. I was wrong, it doesn't even give me the full 6 seconds like the Trustfire.

Anyone have ideas or suggestions?

Edit: I apoligize, I was incorrect, I've done further testing and it does seem to work fine with the 1.5ml 1.7ohm standard Resurrectors -- this is happening only on the 2.5ml Resurrectors.
