Problem.....Headaches for my daughter, about the same time everyday...late afternoon-nighttime
This headaches just happened to start at the same time I introduced my daughter to e-cigarettes (may be a concidence).
She uses the same as I do 50pg/50vg @24 but we are decreasing to 18 last month and 16 next month.

I told her it could be the juice, but she says she thinks it might be she needs to have he glasses changed.
Any info, has anyone else has headaches from one or another juice?

First let me say I'm no doctor.

That said headaches have many causes. One of which is dehydration. I would check to make sure that she has a high enough intake of water. I would say that anything less than 3 liters a day is not enough. Depending on climate and time of year and lifestyle it could be much more. For example I'm pretty active, and its already starting to get humid down here--so I've had to bump my water intake up to 4.5L per day. I may be having to drink as much as 6L in ultra-summer.

An other factor could be nicotine. It could be too high...or it could be too low. The funny thing is that overdose has the same symptoms as withdrawal.

Also has she dramatically reduced her intake of caffeine as well? I noticed that when I started vaping I reduced my caffeine intake as well hand had caffeine withdraws to contend with.

Also there are environmental factors such as seasonal allergies, stress at work and so on that could be causeing these headaches.

Assuming you can rule out all of the other variables I would then look at nicotine strengths.

+1 for for Abe_Katz said. Most headaches are related to dehydration (not most kinds, but your average headache), so drinking more water is an easy solution to try.

I've noticed a lot of people (and myself) saying they're drinking much less coffee once they started vaping. That suggests to me we're getting a steadier flow of nicotine, and that could be causing the headaches. Is when she gets the headaches just after the time of day when she's vaping the most?

Unfortunately, a lot of what's involved in vaping, from switching off analogs to the drop in caffeine to the change in nicotine levels to the dehydrating effect, can all make headaches.

As for her glasses... does taking them off help?

The same thing happened to me when I started vaping, but if was not at exactly the same time of day. It happened when I vaped more. I dropped my nic level from 18 to 12 and it went away. She can just vape less for a day and it should not happen. I would check it soon though because it could be coincidence and there could be something much more serious going on. Be safe and good luck with it!

Dehydration will cause headaches, to be fulling hydrated she she should be drinking at least 6 8oz glass of fluid a day. PG and VG both can cause some dehydration. An other thing that causes headaches is some juice flavors can. I have a few that if I vape them all day they will. The 3rd thing that can cause headaches is if your not getting enough nicotine. but at 24mg that shouldnt be a problem. Just like if you are addicted to caffeine and dont get enought it can cause headaches. Lastly my first month of vaping with the detoxing I was getting headaches, most likely from detoxing chemicals my body was used to.

over dose symptoms but that is at about 60mg.
Vomiting and nausea, ........
Headaches
Fainting
Difficulty breathing
Pallor
Sweating
Palpitations
Lisps
Stomach pains/cramps/bloating
Seizures
Weakness
Drooling

You may notice symptoms of nicotine withdrawal within 2 - 3 hours after you last use tobacco. People who smoked the longest or smoked a greater number of cigarettes each day are more likely to have withdrawal symptoms. For those who are quitting, symptoms will peak about 2 - 3 days later. Common symptoms include:
•An intense craving for nicotine
•Anxiety
•Depression
•Drowsiness or trouble sleeping, as well as bad dreams and nightmares
•Feeling tense, restless, or frustrated
•Headaches
•Increased appetite and weight gain
•Problems concentrating

Nicotine use can have many different effects on the body:
•Decreases the appetite (for this reason, the fear of weight gain affects some people's willingness to stop smoking).
•Boosts mood and may even relieve minor depression. Many people will feel a sense of well-being.
•Increases activity of your intestines
•Creates more saliva and phlegm.
•Increases heart rate by around 10 to 20 beats per minute.
•Increases blood pressure by 5 to 10 mmHg.
•May cause sweating, nausea, and .........
•Stimulates memory and alertness. People who use tobacco often depend on it to help them accomplish certain tasks and perform well.

so really not the same with overdose to underuse.

Does your daughter take aspirin on a regular basis for headaches or other aches and pains?

There's evidence to support that taking any form of painkiller interferes with your bodies natural painkillers and can cause headaches to become more frequent and severe. Look at it this way.....when you take aspirin or similar products youre replacing endorphins and chemicals in your body that have evolved over millions of years to perform a specific function with something artificial.

I never take aspirin or any other drug if I can help it. Consequently, I can count on one hand how many times Ive had a headache in the past ten years.

I'd look at other causes beyond ecigs before jumping to a conclusion that might cause someone to go back to a much less healthy alternative.
