Trustfire battery charger.

Hey folks,

Been having some issues with my trust fire battery charger. (Yes I know, that's the problem itself, its a trust fire!) In any case, the power cord will work fine, then it will simply not power the unit at all. First time it happened I grabbed another power cable and off I went. Except this time, no power cords are working at all, I can kind of jiggle the power connector into the trust fire and it will turn on. It is making an electrical arcing sound now, so even though its kinda getting power, I don't dare put any batteries in it now. This trust fire also has a DC12 volt power cable port, unfortunately I don't have any power cables with the right specifications to try it out on.

Is this thing totally busted? Next month when I have money I will just buy an X-star 4bay charger. I am going run out of charged batteries before next month, I am down to 6 fully charged 18650s! Looks like I had back ups of back ups for everything except the most important thing of all. A flipping charger! I have created my own Vapocalypse.

I'm not that familiar with the internals of the Trustfire, but if you're comfortable with soldering, it sounds to me like a broken or loose wire internal to the charger on the female 12v connector. That is, IF those chargers can be taken apart at all?

They're cheap enough to be disposable. I have one as a backup to my nitecore.
