Trying to limit the amount of money I spend on coils

Why not rebuild the kanger coils yourself. Once you have your supplies of kanthal and cotton, don't forget you will need either an ohm reader if your device does not read the ohms of the coil then no additional outlay and you will probably find the vape better.
It is easy to do their is plenty of posts on this forum on how to do it or search you tube for rip trippers protank micro coil rebuild
rstan, rebuild those suckers. I have the PT2 and 28ga kanthal, 9 wraps around a 5/64 bit for 1.6 ohms with KGD cotton wakes those Kangers right up.
When I first start it was a PITA, flooding, gurgling and just a overall drag. Each time got easier and now I can knock one out in a couple minutes. Add an air flow control to the PT2 if you haven't already and the flavor gets even better.
A round toothpick is perfect for holding the coil in perfect position when you build and don't take it out until you clip off the legs. If you have an ohm meter built into your PV you are set.

I tried a few different options and ended up going rebuildable. If that isn't a step you want to take look into the Nautilus style tanks since the coils are a little better and have a slightly longer life. Also if you are using a vv/vw device lower it a bit and see if you can squeeze some more life out of coils
Thanks everyone for such quick replies...I do not have a VV/VW battery...yet. I have been thinking about rebuilding, though. Need the ohm meter. I was researching and I got freaked out because of the ohm thing. I guess different thickness coil determines the ohm's? Also, i was worried if i did make something that was too low or high that I would blow my battery. It is a standard evod battery from kanger as well, 900mah.

Don't freak out, just learn it. It's not hard.
And if you are going to rebuild, get thee an Ohm Reader!!!
And buy coils on sale, like MyFreedomSmokes is having a 40% off coil sale, limit 2boxes per style.
that's why you get the little ohm-reader. You build your coils (so many wraps, with such and such a thickness expected to give you say 2.0 ohms), put it together, screw your Protank base on the ohm-meter, and it tells you 1.9 Ohms. Yippee - vape it. Or it tells you 0.0 or E. That means you messed up, there's a short, try again. LOL

Instead, I expect to use 30-40 Aspire BVCs (approx) over the next 12 months. That's more like it. Better Vaping too.
I can't believe people think they are "marginally" better value. They are on a totally different planet. They last weeks instead of days.
Meanwhile, I'll go and invest my time making a dual coil on my Orchid....

Learn to build your own coils. It is not hard and there are numerous videos on youtube. It will be the smartest thing you can do.

Not the kanger coils but i build coils for my device a kayfun and with my nautilus the coils were around $11 for 5 of them and for that amount i could make many many more coils.
you could also get a 100ft spool of a1 kanthal from temco for like $5-10 an use cotton

Best thing I ever learned is to build my own coils and wicking. Only regret I have is I never saved all my old protank coils for months before I started rebuilding them.
I started awhile back with a youtube video from pbusardo. I got all the stuff needed and just followed along stopping when I had a bit of a problem. A PBusardo Review All About The EVOD - Includes Recoiling - YouTube
100 feet of wire cost me ~ $5, think I paid $15 for 8 oz of ramie fiber, but that should give me a few years of coil supplies.
