Hello. I tried V2 cigs, with disposable cartriges, a few months ago. I did really well as far as quitting the cigs for about 2 weeks, but I became less than satisfied after that. I recently decided to try again. I've been doing well with my ego twist/pro-tank set up. However, I am still unsatisfied with throat hit and vapor production. What should my next step be? Thanks for any help....

+1 for ESharp. If you like the Protank, you might also like a carto tank. Vapor production is significantly higher for me, and flavor is similar to Protank, but draw is tighter (but what isn't compared to Protank?). Next step from your Twist is the iTaste 3.0, a vv/vw stick battery (like an ego), with LED display, Ohm meter, +/- buttons, puff counter, pass-thru, etc. 800 mAh and shorter than the Twist. Step up from that is the APV, usually see the Vamo recommended. Fasttech has the kits for $50. The Vamo V3 is slightly better imho. Ok, there's an unlimited number of options, but a carto tank with iTaste is one of the best, next logical steps imho. Best to you and welcome to the Forum.

Me and hubby started with the V2, he struggled to quit the ciggies (but never picked one up) with those, no throat hit (his exact words!) I was fine with the hit, but could not find a flavor i liked. He smoked menthol ciggies so it was ez for him, not so much me. After lots of hours researching, mostly on this site, he started with the Ego's and was MUCH happier, while I was still struggling with some juice that I liked. I finally found a flavor called Blue Tide (can't find it online though :-( ) It was YUMMY!! Here we are a year plus later....he is a Vamo kinda guy, I LOVE my Ego Twist and my Blue Ice flavor!! He is 100% ciggie free, I am 99%. I think it is the rebel in me or complete FEAR to completely let go of my ol friend the ciggie! GOOD LUCK to all who are quitting!!!!

You have to remember that vaping is not the same as smoking. It does take some getting used to. I started out with V2 myself and I did quit smoking but the battery life was terrible! I upgraded to a couple of Vision Spinners and a Vamo and haven't looked back.

Im slowly lowering my nic level and I admit I am missing the declining throat hit but Im getting used to it. Im on 12 mg now and tried some of my old 18 mg and couldn't do cause the throat hit was TOO strong! LOL...fixing to go to 6 mg. What I do is just slowly incorporate with my other juices and then when the higher ones are gone I just order more of the lesser nicotine level.
