the next one is a dyed and stabilized dna75 with an ebony wood faceplate. the faceplate is in a natural wood finish for a little contrast. this block was from islewoods and they do a great job with there stabilizing

this one by request is an up sliding door with a centered atty, meaning a 22mm atty would need to be removed to slide the door up

this next one is the problem child. it's from a larger stabilized block, but this stabilization turned out to be pretty crappy compared to most other stabilized woods I've worked with. stabilization is supposed to stabilize the wood by nature, but this stuff still shrinks and warps and cracks like some of the most problematic unstabilized woods I've ever worked with really, and it has fought me the whole way. t's a little hard to tell how good something is stabilized until you cut into it and start working it.

this one still needs a little work :) shown with 2 different faceplates for testing. the first matching wood faceplate with sterling silver trim accents winded up warping and cracking soon after it was cut out, not even sure if it' salvageable at this point, even though supposedly stabilized, this wood acts way more like a green unseasoned tropical soft wood with how much it warps and shrinks after it's cut. the other faceplate shown is black ultem

and the last one. this last one is another "extra" that I built for no one in particular and it is available for sale here right now. it is a sister mod to the cocobolo dual 18650 I just posted as it was cut from the same block. this is a natural oil rubbed wax finish cocobolo with a black ultem faceplate with brass trim. it will have amber ultem buttons... it has a down sliding door in right handed configuration with a centered atty. the brass trim and ultem faceplate are both upgrades but I'm offering this mod here without any upcharge for these upgrades to the first person that claims it here.

these wood mods should all be assembled and finished in the next few days then I'll move on to finishing up a batch of ultem mods and start contacting those next in line with the next wood mods :)

hey turbo great price for this one of a kind creation! do you have dimensions and/or photos of mod next to something (like fruits?) for scale?

Can you come and stand next to my Turbo mod? Then we can take a fruits & nuts comparison pic :p
