Best mod ever, Doffy...oh my god it's so amazing.

i'm glad you are in here, sloth

i feel like a n00b hoople looking into regulated. I've been all about parallel mechs so long

ATM, i have 2 vt inbox as "proof of concept" on the dna75. Loving them really, but there is just something nice about being included in the making process and a mod made just for me

eagerly awaiting next batch, backreading 5 pages of this thread at a time when as i get to them

kinda excited, and scared, and having an identity crisis

I'll always love my mechs, but after getting this they are just back-ups at this point. I need another Turbo in another run or 2. They're indestructible (see the video of turbo running it over with a car then vaping it) but if I ever dropped mine in a lake (possible when mountain biking though unlikely) or had it stolen I would be devastated.

You lookin' at wood, ultem or delrin? They all look mighty fine but that ultem is as solid as any metal mech (less water) you'll ever find. Hence my draw to this particular regulated mod.

yeah, the wiring design, and sturdiness are where it's at

so satin black ultem, i think. Scared of amber showing any drips etc inside, although i find the MM refill bottles are saving that

so far, only wattage mode on regulated, ive come this far on mechs afterall, just hate maintenance even on silver contacts

looked around at other reg mods, nothing much appealed, mostly look like accessories for dressing in drag with the italian crap

I'm only using wattage mode too, TC's nice but I haven't dabbled a lot. The adjustability's nice but yeah the main draw to me is no maintenance and essentially double battery life per 18650, if not more, since I yank my batteries pretty early on mechs (usually 4v or above). Now I'm able to run 2 bottles of juice per battery and I love the consistency of each hit.

I think the satin black ultem is mostly what mine is. It feels so awesome. I have an amber door and buttons. On my 2nd I'll either do fully black with an amber faceplate, or, something similar...but I love, love, love the black.

i would have to get an old laptop from the shed with a windows Virtual machine installed to run escribe anyway

i've downsized from linux to chromebook this past year, my needs are simple

i was always pulling batteries early too

i like that with VW, if my coil starts to wear out, i just increase 2 watts and extend it a while [after rebuilding fortnightly on mechs]

ha, ok so photobucket has effectively set out to break the internet and destroy over 10 years worth of millions and millions of hobbiest and enthusiasts posts all over forums and blogs everywhere by demanding a $400 a year ransom to allow you to keep hosting the pictures that they have up until now allowed you to freely use to display your photos on the web. what a bunch of idiots...

they have signed there own death certificate with this move and personally I refuse to pay into their ransom demands because of the way they went about this, so now, since I have always used photo bucket for all of my pictures here, my thread is now filled with nothing but red X's and no images...

this really sucks, not just for me and my thread here and any other threads I have posted in over the years, but also for countless millions of other photo's all over the net, how many times does one do a search for stuff and wind up coming across other forum posts with tons of useful info and pictures that has been amassed over the years?, well now you will find nothing but red X's... way to go photobucket! the kicker is for years I have paid them for a higher tier service for less bandwidth limits with them, well now that don't mean squat unless you pay them $400 a year ransom to restore all that old content! all those years of work others have put into build threads and informational posts and blogs all across the internet are now destroyed unless you pay their ransom...

I will probably just start a new thread once I organize some photo's and get a new way to host images as this one is now kinda useless, there is no way I could ever go back and restore all the images in this thread, it's just impossible unless I pay them the $400 ransom they are demanding to restore all this content, well thats just not happening. I'd rather pay double that to a new hosting service that is up front about their policies in the first place, instead of giving another nickel to a company who would do something as despicable as what photobucket has done here. the class action suits are already organizing against them all over the internet and millions of users are outraged at the horrible way they have developed this whole bait and switch model here... it's literally extortion... what a bunch of ......, they have without a doubt completely killed there own company with this ridiculously idiotic move
