Hey guys, as you can tell by my join date I am not new to vaping. On the other hand I have been dabbling with mechanical + rebuildables a lot more lately and I have a feeling this is quite a "newbie" issue. I have shelved the mod for this reason. The contact pin pops out quite easily and causes the battery to heat up (from a short) extremely quickly. If I didn't catch it, the battery would have surely leaked.

The white delrin (I assume is the material) snaps in, but also easily snaps out. I'm certain this is causing my short. I filmed a quick video and posted it on instagram to show what I am referring to.

In short, is there a way to fix this top cap assembly or does someone sell a replacement top for it?

Thanks in advance and any help is appreciated.

EDIT: For reference it is the Turtle Ship V2

That's for the lower section of the mod, the delrin piece that surrounds the bottom fire pin. The issue I'm having is the small piece of delrin that just snaps into the top cap. It comes out way too easily and causes battery issues.

I'm having the same issue. Mine worked for about a month and then one night randomly when I screwed in my Stillare the floating pin just started popping out. Surely someone knows how to fix this!!

I actually fixed this getting some pliers and pulled down the pin a bit from the delrin. The also "squished" the top part of the delrin a little to have a tighter fit. That fixed that problem, however I went to take a hit on it the other day and the bottom "brass" pin snapped in half. I put that in quotes, because half of the pin is actually full of filler. It is only brass plated and not a solid piece. Was kind of surprised on that one. Pretty much my Turtleship has sunk. RIP. :)
