Turtleship question

So I have a v1 turtleship that's my daily vape. I'm having an issue with it though. The derlin used to adjust for battery rattle doesn't hold worth a damn. I set it. Tighten everything down. Rattle. Take it back apart and the derlin is as low as it can go. It didn't used to do this.

I ordered the v2 switch. I don't use a fuse or anything so I figure at least have proper venting. This one doesn't hold either! Is this a known issue? Is there a fix?

A pic would help but i think i know the part your talking about. The Derlin piece may be stripped out. Don't know if they sell them.
