As I understand it, the standard 510 battery is 3.1 volts. Is the Tornado also a 3.1v batt, or is it a 3.7? From reading about 3.7v mods, it seems the minor voltage difference makes a small but noticeable difference.

To the original question asked... I find that you get easier vape (more plentiful, with slightly less need to take as long and hard of a drag) from dripping directly on the atty... plus I find you can dial in on the amount of liquid you use this way better than by refilling a cart.
Also, I use the atty's from Blu cigs on my Tornado (since they are compatible with Joye 510 and hence ego's and Tornado batteries)... not that they are better than Joye attys... they are just great attys and come 2 for $10 with free shipping from the folks at Blu cigs.
