twist, need some help

No, no setting required. When it's ready the light will turn green. You may need to hit the on/off button 5 times in a row to turn it on (or off for when putting in your pocket for example) after it's charged. Don't leave it unattended while charging though. (and I'd recommend getting a backup charger too because they can fail just like batteries do). Hope that helps.

its not an ego c charger, its just an ego charger i got for my other 650's from nettmix. after turniung the battery off and on again i nolonger got the orange light.

but is there some setting my twist needs to be at when i charge it or just leave it on whatever i was using when i plug it in ?

All good advice there, and if you have to leave it, leave it in a tray or something that will be okay if it leaks or whatever. I always leave my new batteries in a steel tray the first few times I charge them. I have never had an issue, but if it blows up or springs a leak, the prevention seems worthwhile.
