i'm a fan of the look of the heat wrap. they look homemade, have you considered getting them coated?
Hubby is looking to do something totally different with the pipes to get them away from my bad leg. I don't have much feeling in that leg and he's really afraid of me burning it. To be honest I'm not sure what he has planned for it pipe wise. Plus I have to have a special foot board for that foot because nerve damage has caused a drop foot and regular pegs just don 't cut it for me anymore.
To bad we are so far in distance.i'm sure he's got you covered. first thing comes to mind is a 2-1-2 crossover. and i'm pretty sure you can get standard hd pass boards to replace the pegs.

I ride the same bike...mines blue and totally accessorized! Looking to upgrade to a Goldwing soon. BTW, I wear a full faced helmet and was having a hard time vaping and driving so I melted a flat tip 901 cart and gently bent it to 90 degrees, put it on my 510 auto batty and it works great. Now it fits up in my helmet to my mouth and I vape away! Looks silly but gets the job done!
